Is Japan and Russia NEXT?

Japan became the first Asian nation to defeat a European power when it defeated the Russia in the Russo-Japanese war of 1904 - 1905 over the disputed Kuril Islands. Its one of the worlds oldest territorial disagreement. Image
Japan and Russia never signed a peace treaty after WW2. The island is known as the Southern Kurils in Russia and the Northern Territories in Japan, the island is thought to have huge offshore reserves in oil and gas. Image
Russia recently announced it is planning an Economic Zone of the islands and is beefing up its military presence. In December 2021 Russia deployed coastal defence missile systems near the islands as a show of force.

The island was occupied by the Soviets after WW2.
Japan disputes Moscow's claim of sovereignty over the four southern kuril islands closest to the main Japanese islands of Okaido. Last month a U.S submarine was discovered near the Kurils islands during Russian military exercises. ImageImage
Four days ago Japan's Foreign Minister described the four islands as an integral part of Japan. Let's remember Japan has taken one of the strongest positions of the Ukraine crises.

The most virtuous thing anyone can do is to resist the temptation of putting the lust for "clicks" over the overall national security. There was no public induction ceremony for the Wing Loong II and CH-4 UCAVs for a good reason. There are no operational images of the drones
..for a reason. The incalculable impact the drones are making on the battlefield are not subject to public consumption. There is also a reason I deleted tweets regarding the TB2 drones, until they arrive. The reasons for these censorship cannot be discussed on a public forum.
While these weapons operate under the shadow of the night, their spectacular exploits will never become public knowledge, and we as Nigerians are ripping the dividends when 90% of the Nigerian populace go about their daily lives without looking over their shoulders.

We lost Bakassi to Cameroon because of failed political leadership. Incompetence and corruption has done far more damage to Nigeria than anything else.
History that Deserves to be Remembered.

Today 12 March 1994, the Nigerian government accused France of deploying troops to the disputed Bakassi Peninsula to command Cameroonian forces in an all out war with Nigeria.
France vehemently denied the allegation that it's troops were in Bakassi. The Nigerian army said it had confirmation that French troops were used at East Atabong and Isengele, part of the disputed peninsula, and French forces are now directing operations for the Cameroonians.

In evaluating the performance of the Nigerian military we realise that as of today, 35,000 terrorists have so far surrendered to Nigerian forces. Attacks against civilians is expected to spike dramatically during his period as is traditionally the case. ImageImageImageImage
For years Nigeria expected partner nations Chad, France and the U.S to clear ISWAP safe-havens on Chadian soil with their fighter jets and MQ-9 Reaper drones, not turn a blind eye to their sanctuaries in Chad via which they launch attacks in Nigeria and retreat to the relative ImageImage
safety of their camps in Chad. Nigeria's suspicions about France tacitly supporting terrorists were inflamed when former American ambassador to Mali, Vicki Huddleston, said France paid $17 million in ransoms to free French hostages. The French of course denied. Image

Nigeria enjoys a position of unparalleled military strength and great economic and political influence. In keeping with our principles, we do not use our strength to press for unilateral advantage. We seek instead to create a system where everyone benefits. Yet we are despised.
Heck we preserve/defend the peaceful coexistence and democratic values in the region with our military might. This has always been a fundamental commitment of the Nigerian Government. Today, that task has changed dramatically.
Enemies in the past needed great military capabilities to endanger Nigeria. Now, shadowy networks of individuals can bring great chaos and suffering to our shores for less than it costs to purchase a single tank. These terrorists are vicious, barbaric and well organized
