The history of India is a history of mortal conflict between Buddhism and Brahmanism.
Dr. Br Ambedkar
The thread is to show how the leadership of South Asia, if there was one, failed miserably. Therefore, no need of blaming the invaders – the hobby of UCs . 🧵
There must be some reason for Buddhism to fail in India. The thread is not to blame Brahminism for Buddhism’s failure. Dishonest, stupid, Brahmin A$$#OLE$ blame invaders for the under performance of the country.
Instead they should own the whole thing. The shift from Budhism to Brahminism dragged Indian civilization backward. Until AD1200, Brahmins and Kshatriyas were at the leadership roles, excluding everybody else from the polity.
Why Brahmin and Kshathriya couldn’t make society, which can defend itself?
They never cared about the civilization and its people, but themselves. When the invaders won, Brahmin just jumped the ship, leaving Kshatriyas alone.
This played out even after 1947. When British left, Brahmins jumped into the ship of Banias, leaving Kashtriyas. Once powerful Kshatriyas have nothing much now. Brahmins conspired wit Mrs Gandhi on princes' rights. It's a Bania world with Brahmin advisors.
Brahmin had been advising the kings & emperors of Aryavarta and shaping the civilization’s philosophy, religion, social structures, labor, technology, sex life, food choices, and everything for ages.
Even when the intruder was massacring the people and looting temples, Brahmin never advised to arm Sudras. Kshatriya never thought about challenging Brahmins’ useless advices. Had they done, they would have been sharing the space with Sudras and winning against the invaders.
But sharing the weapons and power with Sudra. Unimaginable! In death Brahmin and Kshatriya go to heaven, guaranteed the books Brahmins recited everyday. But after sharing the space with Sudra and Panchama, they head to the hell.
See, Brahmins and Kshatriyas were hedging their life on earth for the life after death.

What was the result of stupid philosophy? Invader from mush smaller cultures won, hands down.
Brahmin lost no time to jump the ship and” advise” the intruders. All the while he maintained his purity and exclusivity. He didn’t care the Kshatriyas when they didn’t win and offer “Rajarshi” roles. He gleefully served Sultanate, Mughals, British, and Banias.
How come invaders with smaller “civilizational” catchment areas won?
Invaders had better literacy and better social structures, better technology, resulting better battle outcome. Blacksmith, gold smith, horse breeder, the cook all had a part, unlike the system Brahmins advised.
Therefore, Invaders weapons, horses, battle strategy, logistics, food (for the fighters), etc were far better. Invaders could fight thousands of kilometers away from their home. Kshatriyas, taking Brahmins' advise, couldn’t fight effectively in their home land.
Kingdoms in central Asia, Persia and Middle East were learning from other successful ones – Greek, Roman, Persian, Turks and so on. The artisans were learning by looking others products, what others had written, and improvising.
At the time of Ashoka, India had vibrant culture, script (open literacy culture) at the time of Ashoka. His stone edicts in Brahmi are proof for top down communication of principles.
Few hundred years later, Brahminism prevailed over Buddhism; Brahmi & literacy disappeared.
Brahmins killed Brahmi, monopolized all forms of writing, switched to Sanskrit writing, making the civilization illiterate. This is village’s only “masterji” teaches only his kids. Your son lives in Bombay send you letter. The teacher sprinkles gangajal on the letter.
He reads it, if you pay in some form. He puts his words in the letter “Appa, the masterji is good. Give him 100 Rs every month”. It’s funny. But you get the point. Hey, just as in modern society, medieval society, too, monopoly was precious.
After Ashoka, until Sultanate, we do not see Taxila or Nalanda kind of public spaces in Indian Architecture. How many standing building of that era we can find now? You see many such things in other cultures.
The Kshatriyas and Brahmins built temples. That’s the place owned and supervised by Brahmins.
How many of standing structures, barring temples, were built in between 400 AD and 1200 AD in South Asia? How castles from that era we see today? Brahmins cared about themselves.
The Kings stopped making stone edicts. They had nothing to share. Public couldn't read anyway. The king had outsourced the thinking to you Bamans. Neither cared the technology, subjects’ wellbeing, agricultural production, industrial production etc.
Now, Brahmins write and interpret Puranas, Sastras in your language - Sanskrit. Ofc, Sanskrit is gods’ language; Shit heads cannot take-up a chisel to engrave on the stone. They don’t want Sudra to learn Sankrit. Selfish bunch.
Brahmin drove a literate civilization into illiterate. If the population is not literate how he transfers his knowledge? How the technology from Persian artisan transfers to an Gujarati artisan? See, Brahmins killed the vibrant civilization with your selfish monopoly over letters
All the while, the other open cultures were growing in literacy. Generating know-how, learning through reading, transmitting by writing, improvising the technology in weapon making, agriculture, animal breeding, etc.
Civilization growth is not just making a family dramas into an epics. It’s about improvising social structures, technology, language, weaponry, and on.
In a German village, I saw a public market built from wood in 1300s still standing. The architect’s name is engraved on the wall. It had various people involved then in language most could read and write. Ashoka had done the same thing, to communicate the future generations
Just look at few social structures of the subcontinent. Sultanate is a “slave dynasty”. What it means? Turks trusted staves and let a slave be an emperor in Delhi. In Bhima Koregaon, few hundred British trained Chamars defeated twenty eight thousand Brahmin led force.
It means better social structures and technology can deliver battles. Turks and British could trust others. Brahmins and Kshatriyas couldn’t. Brahmins’ stupid theories prohibited them from cooperate with others. See?
So the UCs, Don’t blame invaders. You facilitated invaders. You advised invaders. Now, STFU.

A story my mother told.
Kadavallur [yes, the fuc%^&ng anonyam temple place], South Malabar, circa early 1950s.
My grandfather, grandmother and their kids – all almost 10 kids then. My mother and her elder sister reached puberty.
The filthy rich Menon Tharavad wanted girls to sweep the yard in the morning. Well, by 1950s Sudra Nairs and Ezhavas were less enthusiastic of slavery. Now, Dalits get promoted for sweeping the yard – the sweeping inside is still reserved for LC Nairs.
The girls shouldn’t cover their breasts! That’s the condition. Lower caste has no right to hide their breast in front of an upper caste. Yes, it’s after independence likely at the time of Dwija EMS’ first term.
