This is very unprofessional @MontebelloBus driver admitting to saying “Shut the fuck up” bus number 2924. I’m sure this is a clear violation of federal law of unnecessary conversation as posted on all buses.
“Any last words you wanna say”. As a bus driver from @MontebelloBus . This level of professionalism is unacceptable.
@MontebelloBus driver admits to “I ain’t gonna do none of that” to a passenger on the bus with a open beer container.
Again further proof of unnecessary conversation by federal law.
@USDOT be sure to check these videos and follow this thread.
@FMCSA See thread for safety complaint. Safe to say driver is in violation of “unnecessary conversation prohibited by federal law”. Working with @MontebelloBus Montebello bus lines in the city of Montebello California.
truth is: the generosity of friends & strangers alike to avoid the rain/cold & when my back went out on me, it wasn’t you/your boss/the city/state/or county bank rolling my recovery, it was my friends that I’m slowly paying back. So tf outta here with that bs. 2B means nothing.
To this day I’m still recovering. I feel my back occasionally want to act up. It doesn’t stop, ever. More so when having to carry these many bags because there is no PSH or vouchers or LAHSA gatekeeping me from getting EHV from ARP. Have a answer for any of that? Probably not.
If you/your boss/city/state/county was actually working & that EHV from ARP was in my hand as a check RIGHT NOW. I wouldn’t have to pay for storage, wouldn’t have missed a payment because I have decide between the unit & avoiding rain/cold .
If my bio isn’t enough. I advocate for reforms in the current system while pointing out its awful flaws & offer advice/insight where I can with others. I’ve been at this unhoused grind for ten years too long & counting.
Most of my advocacy comes in form of emailing & talking to USICH (United States Interagency Council of Homelessness), emailing the White House & email conversation with reps. I’ve had the honor to have the help of @RepRoybalAllard Deputy Kim Tachiki & their office.
I was also present when Judge Carter had his hearing outside on skid row at the woman shelter. It’s a shame he didn’t become the hope I was wanting in regards to making change that is desperately needed.
The message is in the right place. I just wish when Arnold was “The Governator” of California. That he held this same type of compassion for the unhoused & felt it was a humanitarian crisis while we as Californians & Hollywood made him rich.
Mind you: he is the same person who felt video games were too violent but forgot somehow when saying that; how violent his movies are & the franchise’s he took part in.
Also books can be considered violent as well in nature.
Arnold didn’t care about the homeless during his term as governor. It’s actually odd that he would try to care now as of 2021.
Before COVID . There is Metro & Foothill transit buses that ran 24hrs a day/ 7 days a week. If the driver got to know you, you could get in & sleep. You had a driver, some camera (at doors) & warm hard bus seat to Sleep on.
When I was first as a homeless teen/young adult struggling to stay in college. I had one metro bus driver give me free emergency transfers with no time expire & let me into the El Monte bus station bathroom to sleep for the night. (Before the remodel)
I wouldn’t be making these kinds of tweets if I was eligible to the 1k a month. Since LA county likes to exclude instead of being inclusive. $175 storage & $90📱
