The one where mob boss Lwj is at an after party at a high class escort club, and no matter who tries to hit on him, he’s just…not interested, until he lays eyes on Wwx, and decides, he is the one he wants.

plot twist though, Wwx is not in fact an escort of any kind, he’s just a slut with expensive taste—but he dares not say a word when Lwj comes onto him, he lets lwj buy him drinks, he lets lwj lead him out of the club, and fuck him in the limo and then his bed.

So Wwx pretends, he pretends he’s an escort or host or really whatever Lwj wants him to be and Lwj decides that he wants to keep Wwx as his sugar baby, and really, who is Wwx to argue that?? He gets spoiled and fucked!!

so what if Lwj kills people sometimes and comes home covered in blood hahaha. Who cares if he’s the top of the most notorious criminal syndicate?? Anyways, the thing is…sometimes…sometimes they both get too eager, to fuck, and they forget…protection.

It’s not a big deal, not at first, Wwx loves the way Lwj loses control, how he wants him so much—but then he starts to get really tired, and nauseous around his favourite food, and so you know he decides to get a test—just for jokes right, it’s not—no way is he…

But HE IS, he’s pregnant and he’s a crime boss’ SUGAR BABY, and to make things worse it’s barely been 5 months, 5!! And Wwx kind of just spirals bc he wants this kid but he doesn’t think Lwj would ever want him that way, or would take responsibility you know? So he leaves.

He leaves, he changes his name—changes his life and identity, and has his baby, 9 months later, and he’s perfect—big chubby cheeks, soft black hair… and Lwj’s eyes. It makes Wwx heart ache…in ways he can’t explain, it’s not like they were in love…it’s not like Lwj loved him.

Lwj is understandably heartbroken and angry because Wwx was HIS and now he’s gone—but he won’t let him be gone for long, after all, he’s hgj, and nothing is going to stop him from finding Wwx

Then…then he’s sent a letter, after months of searching for Wwx, it has no return address but it’s signed from a woman named Wen Qing—Lwj knows that name, he knows its power, and she asks him not to search for Wwx. To let him go. It’s safer after all.

So what does Lwj do?? He lets him go, it takes convincing, and he keeps track of the cities Wwx lives in…but he aches, he wants, he /needs/ but he stays away—TW: Lwj/others!!!

And if he fucks pretty escorts that looks like Wwx—well no one needs to know.

2 years pass of much of the same—for Lwj it’s blood, sex, money, it’s wanting in the middle of the night, obsessively reading that letter and telling himself not to break down every door in the country.

For Wwx, it’s learning to be a father, pretending he isn’t missing a crime boss who has the blood of hundreds on his hands and falling in love—in a different way.

Then, 760 days and 4 hours after Wwx left—everything changes.

he goes in search of the gentians, it’s all he needs after all…when he hears it, a laugh. A laugh he knows, a laugh he dreams about, one he hears to hear again.

He stops breathing—there’s no way…

Lwj turns around and his eyes follow the sound…and he sees a man with a ponytail, back to him— “Wei Ying?” Lwj whispers, shocked.

His voice vibrates through the store, and suddenly Wwx is looking at him…but he’s not alone—he’s looking at Lwj, shocked with a baby on his hip.
