1 - Authoritarians like Putin use ONE weapon above all to keep its own citizens supportive and unaware. Like "The Devil", it has many names: Propaganda. Gaslighting. Disinformation. False narratives. Russia is a closed society, so Putin tries to NEVER let the truth in.

2 - We are still a democracy, with freedom of the press. So authoritarian wannabes like Trump have to work harder to bully the narrative. But he has help. Fox has used fearmongering and culture wars to emotionalize OUR electorate; and they've co-opted many into cult-like beliefs.
3 - The most famous propagandist ever - Josef Goebbels - famously said two things - the first one, we've ALL heard: "Make the lie big, keep it simple, keep saying it, and people WILL believe it.” BUT Goebbels also said something else.
4 - Goebbels also said that it's absolutely necessary to always hide the truth from the people, because if truth escapes: “It will prove stronger than the lie.” WE CAN'T ECHO THIS ENOUGH! Propaganda is NOT only about lies; it's also about suppression of truth.
5 - And when Trump trumpets the Big Lie, he is not only peddling disinformation - he is also suppressing the truth. He suppresses his insecurity, his ignorance, his criminality, his lifetime of secrets, and the FACT that he lost the election, and pretty much loses ... constantly!
6 - Friends, democracy is THE thing MOST worth fighting for. It's the fundamental basis of the common good, the only system of government where the dignity of a human is above the power of the state. It's on the line. Our constitutional crisis is not "coming soon." It's here now!
7 - The Republican Party seeks to control branches of government after the midterms and use that to further alter our overall system enough to stay in power as a minority. This is really happening. But we cannot let them succeed. WHAT is the solution? The solution is THE TRUTH.
8 - We MUST fight to expose TRUTH. Because to fight for truth, IS to fight for democracy. It's not an easy fight. But we do have numbers. We need to show up, be smart, play the math, and we need to win over a few more. Because if enough truth prevails, democracy prevails.
9 - Trumpism is the foe. Trumpism not only uses propaganda, it's loud, it uses chaos, and it tries to sow confusion and impact our focus. IF WE ALL BETTER UNDERSTAND WHAT WE'RE REALLY DEALING WITH, WE'LL ALL SHOW UP IN NOVEMBER, AND WE'LL FLIP A FEW. AND DEMOCRACY WILL PREVAIL.
10 - We're making a film that will explain the psychology of TrumpISM. Trumpism is an apparatus. It is MUCH larger than Trump, the man. It's full of enablers, amplifiers, grifters and opportunists. It's a cult. An echo chamber. Most of all, it's a power-grab. And it's shameless.
11 - Just as our 2020 film #UNFIT explained Trump's aberrant psychopathology, #UNTRUTH will make sense out of where we are now, why we're here, and what to do. It's a behavioral perspective you don't ever get in the media. It will speak truth to ANYONE who watches.
