Air India was systematically looted through purchase of 111 aircraft, merging it with Indian Airlines & liberalization of bilateral rights. m.economictimes.com/industry/trans…
"Before 2005, Air India was making a profit of Rs 15 crore per annum and Indian Airlines was making profit of Rs 50 crore. These airlines were made to purchase 111 aircraft at a cost of Rs 50-55,000 crore which pushed the national carrier into deep debts," Scindia said.
"Scindia said the decision to merge two airlines with completely different work cultures, purchase of 111 aircraft, liberalisation of bilateral rights when Indian air carriers did not have the capacity to fulfill it pushed Air India to post a daily loss of Rs 20 crore."
"He said the losses of 14 years had accumulated to Rs 85,000 crore, the equity infusion had cost the government Rs 54,000 crore, grants to the airline totalling Rs 50,000 crore and net debt of Rs 66,000 crore had left Air India staring at a chasm of Rs 2.5 lakh crore."

The Chinese are under no illusion that in the new circumstances India will somehow slide into their camp.
Nor is the OIC Kashmir remarks,a sign of Wang Yi's flatfootedness.
It is SOP to slap India before or during visits, to keep us realistic about our strength & expectations.
There IS a new logic.
They cannot be unaware of India's dependence on Russia, and the suddenly escalated Russian dependence on China putting in their hands, a new goad, to keep the Indian elephant in check.
Wang Yi will be chortling all the way from New Delhi to Beijing if he reads this!
Wang Yi is not in the 'business' of building 'good relations'.
He is in the business of building 'unequal relations'. For this mutual trust is NOT required.

If the Russia Ukraine worsens and Russia gets the worst of it, things could unravel very fast for oil & defence equipment dependent India... theprint.in/opinion/global…
"Fact is, US-China trade has soared by 28.7 per cent to $755.6 billion in 2021, despite the pandemic and US tariffs,.... first is the ASEAN bloc, followed by the European Union. China-EU trade amounted to $828 billion in the same year, up 27 per cent from the previous year."
"Wang Huiyao of the influential Center for China & Globalization " Russia may possess a mighty military, but its economy is in long-term structural decline…It is worth remembering that China’s economic interests with Russia are dwarfed by those it shares with the West.”

#AshrafApartheid
Pasmanda', a Persian term meaning “those who have fallen behind,” refers to Muslims belonging to the shudra (backward) and ati-shudra (Dalit) castes.
Apartheid means (in South Africa) a policy or system of segregation or discrimination on grounds of race.
That is the policy practiced by Ashrafs who think they are racially superior, with Arabic, Iranian or Turkic blood,to the majority Pasmanda Muslims who are native Indians.
Consequently, Ashrafs who are around 15% of India's Muslim population, segregate, oppress, treat as inferiors & deny representation to majority Pasmanda Muslims (85% ) in All India Muslim Personal Law Board, Educational & other Institutions.

* The whole game is finally to fool the Pakistani people.
* To prevent people from blaming "the establishment" the term the Pakis us for the Army & the Deep State.
Watch:
* To prevent people from realizing that the 'establishment' was
a) Incapable of confronting the Indian Army to 'liberate' Kashmir despite all bravado
b) The mess it got itself in Afghanistan with the Taliban, then alienated the Americans, the OIC and the EU
c) The total mess it has made of the economy
d) Over the years it is becoming increasingly clear to Pakistanis that whether Nawaz Sharif or Imran Khan or Bilawal Bhutto..all are 'creatures' of the Army/Deep State.
