[1-9] THREAD: Partisan I am, and will remain, in PMIK's favour (but do read till end). Despite his flaws (administrative failures e.g. appointment of Buzdar), here's a man who he has dedicated his life to Pakistan's betterment & welfare of its people.

[2-9] It's a monstrosity to compare PMIK with blood thirsty leeches who have sucked blood out of every vein of Pakistan. These forces of evil have ganged up against him because he's an existential threat to their survival. It's simple: he survives or they do.

[3-9] Allowing these forces to return to power will drag Pakistan back by decades. It will never recover. It'll be a dagger through the heart of Pakistan. Pakistanis will return back to being obsequious slaves - no respect, no dignity, no hope.

[4-9] This is no longer only about VNC. We need to look beyond VNC (regardless of the outcome). Point being this: PMIK will continue to face this "resistance". As I said earlier, it's either "them" or "him". There is nothing in between.

[5-9] Imo, in the end, defeating these forces will require 2 things: good governance (GG) + institutional reforms (IRs). GG can pave the way for IRs, but IRs are not possible without GG. GG is an area where PMIK has been found wanting, in my view.

[6-9] In relation to GG, PMIK's choice of team has been far from ideal (I'm being polite). In the end, he must introspect on his decisions and get rid of sycophants, those who have failed to deliver, or misled him. He's running out of time.

[7-9] PMIK must also reflect on himself. Admitted, he's a fighter and it's hard for fighters to hold back punches when faced with bullies. But, he mustn't forget the burden on his shoulders: he's representing the nation & certain words must not be spoken.

[8-9] Pakistan stands at a crucial crossroads. This is Pakistan's make or break moment. We cannot see Pakistan return to the dark dismal days. This may sound dramatic but PMIK is indeed Pakistan's last hope, given the power vacuum or a successor.

[9-9] I end this with a prayer: May Allah Almighty enable Pakistan to pass through this test unscathed. May He enable all of us to join hands for the welfare and prosperity of Pakistan and stand up in the fight for truth and justice.
