First of all, what is DAG technology?
A DAG in crypto (directed acyclic graph), is a structure made up of nodes, with edges connecting the nodes. Each edge has a specific direction through vertices and arrows.

TL;DW: Hathor combines both a DAG and blockchain technology, including a chain of mined blocks inside a DAG of txns, allowing for both extreme scalability and decentralization.
Most blockchains run efficiently when the tps is low, whereas a DAG significantly increases this!

In addition, Hathor allows for merged mining with different cryptocurrencies with the same mining algorithm.
Miners can mine on Bitcoin while simultaneously mining on Hathor, receiving $HTR with no additional cost or lost reward!
