Just about every day Naval Aviators take to the skies supporting @NATO's enhanced Air Policing mission. It's a lot of hours flying & with that flight time comes with it a lot of maintenance work.
In the Hangar Bay below the flight deck, thousands of motivated, dedicated & talented young men & woman make metal fly.
From avionics to hydraulics - from bust'n rust (corrosion control) to structural mechanics & everything in between these Sailors are working around the clock to keep @FlyNavy flying.
It's easy to focus on the results of their effort - technologically sophisticated aircraft flying from the sea over the horizon to defend our #NATO allies.
But just as amazing is the talent and effort to keep those "Red Rippers" ripping, those "Blue Blasters" blasting or those "Sunliners" shining.
So! Here's to the Mechs, the Ordies the Plane Captains. All the Sailors working on the roof or in the bays, kicking the tires and light'n the fires - turn'n wrenches & #GiveEmHell
