After Biden using the phrase “when you’re there” while talking to the 82nd Airborne Division about Ukraine, the White House now says “the President has been clear we are not sending U.S. troops to Ukraine and there is no change in that position” according to @AndrewFeinberg.
Griffin had lots of comments for the media after split verdict rendered in his J6 case! Full video here: fb.watch/bVMxvAW1B_/
He says he’ll be back with the People’s Convoy in Hagerstown Tonight, but first, he’s stopping at the Capitol Grille.
PHOTOS: @CowboyCouy Griffin speaks to press and poses for photos after being convicted on one count and acquitted on another for January 6 this afternoon.
NO VERDICT yet in what was expected to be a 1-day bench trial for misdemeanor January 6 defendant & New Mexico local elected official @CowboyCouy Griffin.
Griffin verbally spars with CBS’s @MacFarlaneNews on the way out.
Trial resumes and presumably concludes tomorrow morning.
I count six rigs with the People’s Convoy currently heading westbound on Constitution Avenue, just north of and parallel to DC’s National Mall.
Two MPD vehicles shadow the group.
So I found the source of this livestream.
US Parks Police has a helicopter flying at a low altitude, circling above this small contingent of the #PeoplesConvoy driving around the National Mall.
Palestinians used slingshots to throw rocks and tear gas canisters back at the IDF.
It appears in this footage from @Mohamedelsaife2 that were at a severe disadvantage between often lacking high ground and throwing rocks/canisters versus IDF using weapons to shoot down at them.
In one shot from @Mohamedelsaife2, Palestinians duck for cover ahead of a rubber coated bullet fired by IDF, which whizzes by.
When the protesters stand back up, one preps a sling shot while others dance in defiance.
THREAD: Supporters of January 6 defendant Jake Lang (detained since arrest) gathered today for a small rally outside the DC federal courthouse.
Attorney Steven Metcalf II, representing Lang says people should consider "the violence these people were met with" from police.
Attorney Metcalf, repping J6 defendant Jake Lang, had witness Tommy Tatum sign a declaration that Lang saved his life during the events of January 6 when "met with sheer violence" by cops.
"Justification, as a defense, is something we are legally going to continue to challenge."
Ned Lang, father of Jacob Lang, said "most of the violence that happened on Capitol grounds that day was because of police brutality."
He believes GOP will take congress. "There will be criminal investigations and those that caused harm to our patriots will be held accountable."
“But Tarrio also said that during marches, Lamond would tell him the location of counterdemonstrators. Tarrio said that was so his group could avoid conflict…” washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2022/…
“… after one violent night of demonstrations, police accused the Proud Boys of roaming the city looking for and instigating fights, targeting people they believed identified as antifa, or antifascists.”
