Dice immediately flips out when he sees Ramuda's trashed hotel room and frantically begins searching the room, yelling for Ramuda. Gentarou keeps his cool a little better and pulls out his phone to call Ramuda. When Ramuda picks up, Gentarou's composure shatters. #hypspoiler

He demands to know where Ramuda is. Ramuda says the place might be bugged, so he'll text Gentarou the address instead. Dice runs over and wants to know if Ramuda is okay. As far as Gentarou could tell, yes. The text comes in, and Gen+Dice run out to find him. #hypspoiler

Meanwhile, Ramuda sits alone in his hiding place and thinks back to the phone call he received in his hotel room. When he picks up the phone he finds, to his confusion, that it's Rei Amayado telling him that if he wants to live, he needs to get out NOW. #hypspoiler

Ramuda tries to ask for clarification, but Rei tells him to book it and hangs up. Ramuda looks at the phone receiver in confusion. What's in this for Rei? Why is he helping Ramuda? Well, no time to worry about that now. Ramuda swears, throws on his jacket, and runs. #hypspoiler

Gentarou and Dice arrive at Ramuda's hiding place, a broken-down warehouse. Dice tries calling Ramuda's name, but Gentarou immediately hushes him. This devolves into a bit of bickering about Dice's intelligence or lack thereof, which a familiar voice laughs at. #hypspoiler

Good ol' Dice and Gentarou! You can always count on them to squabble, even in times like this. It's Ramuda, of course. He throws up some peace signs to show that he's okay and says he left since his sixth sense kicked in. (Interestingly, he makes no mention of Rei.) #hypspoiler

So what's the plan from now on? Dice had a plan he was working on in the last chapter, but he didn't make any headway in it. Gentarou was likewise unsuccessful. Eh, whatever, says Ramuda. Que será, será! That's how the world works! #hypspoiler

Dice and Gentarou find his attitude a bit off-putting. They say that if anything happens to them, Ramuda should run for his life and let them fend for themselves. Ramuda, on the other hand, insists that if he's going to die anyway, he'd rather go down swinging. #hypspoiler

But just then, something makes him jump. Gentarou and Dice turn around just as a crew of Party officers run in and surround them. Unlike other officers, these ones wear boots and a more military-ish uniform. They all carry mics. Then their commander slowly walks in. #hypspoiler

Ramuda looks frightened. It's her - Honobono Keitouin. Honobono giggles and tells them the game's over. Tag! They're it.

By the way, it's hard to tell how tall she is from the illustrations, but she appears to be the tallest woman there. No idea her relation to G+D. #hypspoiler

Gentarou and Dice immediately leap in front of Ramuda to protect him from her. Honobono giggles over their apparent affection for each other. It'll be all the more fun for her to break. Gentarou tells Ramuda to run while they buy him time. Ramuda tries to protest - #hypspoiler

- but Dice insists. If Ramuda goes, then it'll give Gen + Dice a chance to make it through this too. That convinces Ramuda, and he sprints away. Honobono tells her fellow Kotozarai members to ignore him, as they'll catch him sooner or later anyway. #hypspoiler

For now, they have other fish to fry. Gentarou and Dice pull out their mics and fight. Dice raps about how they're a wall who won't let Kotosarai pass, giving Ramuda an escape route. Gentarou raps about how Ramuda is their friend, and Ktsri is nothing against them. #hypspoiler

The attack doesn't phase Honobono in the slightest. Now it's her turn. She pulls out a microphone, but it appears to vanish/be absorbed into her body in the actual rap itself. Her speakers are likewise not all the way present and look similar to Ramuda's spheres. #hypspoiler

Her rap, too, is similar to Ramuda's - referencing Pink Love's "Shall we dance?" - and also uses a lot of flirtatious/sexual images. She raps about their male friendship/affection ending here as she urges them to accept her sexualized female affection instead. #hypspoiler

Her attack is devastating, and Gentarou and Dice fall to the ground. One of her colleagues reminds her that they're here to capture Ramuda, not kill these two, but Honobono ignores her and prepares for another attack designed to finish them off. #hypspoiler

Too weak to defend themselves, Gentarou and Dice can only brace for an incoming attack when - in a rush of footsteps - Ramuda screams, "STOOOOOOP!" and leaps in front of them. "You're not hurting them on my watch!" Dice and Gentarou yell at him to go already! #hypspoiler

Leave them here, and save himself! Ramuda says, "No! If I'm going to die either way, then I want to die fighting at your side!" Dice and Gentarou pull themselves to their feet so they can stand together at Ramuda's side in this final battle. #hypspoiler

They rap about their teamwork, and the attack is so powerful that it wipes out the rest of Kotosarai and even makes Honobono take a step back. However, it also took a toll on Ramuda, as he begins coughing up blood again. After an extreme close-up shot of her lips - #hypspoiler

- Honobono begins to tease Ramuda. Does it hurt? Is he in pain? Soooo much pain? Well, good thing she's sooo nice, because she'll take her sweet, sweet time before finally ending his life. In fact, why doesn't she kill his two dear, dear friends right in front of him? #hypspoiler

Ramuda screams at her to go fuck herself and launches into a super powerful rap - he's tougher than he looks! And he's also a master of illusions, which she'd better not forget. Yet even though his attack is so strong, it doesn't affect her at all. #hypspoiler

She gleefully prepares to dig into them, but one of the fallen Kotosarai members lifts her head and asks why Honobono is letting them get away. Get away? What does she mean? Wait a sec! The Ramuda, Gentarou, and Dice in front of her blur and vanish. #hypspoiler

That was only Ramuda's Ability. Meanwhile, the real Fling Posse books it out the back door, with Dice carrying a very weakened Ramuda on his back. Gentarou says he knows a safe place and directs them both there. #hypspoiler

The safe house is a Japanese-style home with antique, Western-style furnishings. It is also filled with books and book shelves on just about every surface. This place looks like Gentarou's 19th/20th century writer aesthetic taken to the max. #hypspoiler

Once they get Ramuda inside, they lay him down on the couch, give him some candy, and then let him rest. He'll be okay for now. Dice, meanwhile, pokes around. #hypspoiler

D: Is this where you write?
G: ... More or less.
D: You don't use it much, huh? Place is covered in dust. [leaves a handprint in the dust on a table]
G: I've never used it.
D: Huh? What's that mean-

Gentarou cuts him off to take a text message. It prompts a very un-Gentarou-like "Sweet!" Gentarou leaves and, when Dice asks where he's going, says he's picking up their trump card.

Gentarou visits the PI to pick up some paperwork and goes to the editor's office. #hypspoiler

He presents said paperwork to the editor. It's evidence of all sorts of crimes this editor is committing. Now, if the editor doesn't want this released to the public, he'll need to hand over the manuscript NOW.

Gentarou returns to the safe house later. #hypspoiler

Ramuda is asleep, but Dice is up and waiting for him. Dice asks what this trump card is. Gentarou is slow to respond, but he finally says it's a manuscript detailing crimes from the Party of Word's rise to power that they don't want the world to know. #hypspoiler

D: Crimes? Did you write it?
G: ... In some sense of the word, yes.
Now they have a weapon, but Gentarou has to think of how to use it. Dice hesitates, and then turns to face Gentarou. Could he borrow it? Dice has the power to make this land where it counts. #hypspoiler

Gentarou hesitates until Dice says, "Trust me." Then, Gentarou smiles and hands the manuscript to Dice saying, "Very well. I'll leave it in your capable hands." Then, before Dice turns to go, Gentarou calls him back. #hypspoiler

Gentarou performs a deep, formal bow to Dice and says, "A certain man staked his life to write this. I must ask that you please, please take care of..."
Dice: Of course. I'll take good care of it.
After Dice leaves, Gentarou folds his hands in his lap and prays. #hypspoiler

The next scene takes place entirely in darkness. A phone rings and goes to an answering machine. Dice says into the phone, "I have the Gentarou Yumeno manuscript. If you don't want me to take it to the press, let me see you now."

???: ... Very well. Let us talk. #hypspoiler

Up in Otome's office, a certain person walks in through her door and complains about how fancy it is. It is to be expected, she tells this person. This is, after all, the prime minister's office. So it is, says Dice, the prime minister's son. Long time no see, Mom. #hypspoiler
