A Muslim cleric is required for certification of Halal. The Govt of India in the APEDA act required this certification for all meat.

This took business away from traditional Hindu butchers to Muslim butchers and funded the Islamic ecosystem. How can a secular state do this?
Not to mention that halal slaughter is extremely cruel. Not even counting the Islamic verses being chanted with it.

Ultimately Halal uses collective buying power to extract compliance and essentially extract a tax that funds the Islamic Ecosystem.

Much cleverer and subversive than not having non-Hindu shops near a few temples. But guess what the outrage is about.

Root of the word "Shahid" or "Shahadat" is Shahadah or the Muslim declaration of belief in Allah and his prophet.

Shahid is one who wages Holy War for Shahadah and dies, getting a fast ticket to Islamic heaven.

Let's not corrupt our language. We have #Veergati.
#ShahidDiwas
Since we don't have religious belief based "holy war" there is no equivalent.

The closest would be dharma veer—a warrior for righteousness.

Yes, it has become a part of common vocabulary but we should understand the roots of words we use.

A few years ago I'd pointed out the absurdity of Hindus saying "RIP" and many have changed after that. 😌

Lol, then who created "God." Since *everything* is created...
These are boring old arguments. My 5-year old asked this question coming back from school "If God created everything who created God."

You twist into pretzels to "rationalize" something which comes from your indoctrination, not from reason.

The problem is that the European mind is unable to conceive of infinity or zero. Nothing has to be "first." This "first cause" thinking is literally kindergarten stuff.

But the @goejibbs think they've made some great "discovery." 😏

#Kejriwal's dissing of #TheKashmirFiles movie is strategic and calculated.

He knows that outrage about the reality in the movie will not result in additional votes for #AAP.

But attacking it, he may garner votes from a certain segment. Hence the drama.

#AAPkaRajasthan
Remember that Kejriwal has no conviction, ethics or permanent stance other than grabbing power. He will say or do whatever is needed for that.

He will sing Hanuman Chalisa one day and cultivate jihadi elements who riot on the streets on another.

Does the cabinet have adequate representation of fat people? How about doctors? Badminton players?

What makes these people focus on just one dimension of identity? Because their prophet told them it’s most important?
Maybe thin people are underrepresented then? Shouldn’t they do a survey for “social justice”?

Yes, I’m very concerned for those with a weak constitution.

Are you one of those? It can effect the mind sometimes.

Does your constitution talk about religion-based elections and ministers in cabinet?

What @TulsiGabbard is saying is frightening.

1.. This document from 2005 on State.gov says US is helping "secure" labs that could be used for bioweapons.
2. If they existed in 2005, 14 years after the fall, do they exist now?
@ggreenwald

state.gov/wp-content/upl…
I have no way to verify the authenticity of this, except that it is on the US State Department website.

The document is a treaty between US DOD and the Ukraine government which admits to the existence of "technology, pathogens and expertise" that could be used for bio-weapons.
It mentions institutes and laboratories with technology, pathogens, and expertise (for bio-weapons) located in Lviv, Odessa, Kyiv, and other facilities in Ukraine.
