It’s a good thing that we have a #TransDayOfVisibility because aside from this day, and Pride Month, and International Pronouns Day, and Lesbian Visibility Day, and International Day Against Homophobia, and Harvey Milk Day, and Pansexual and Panromantic Visibility Day, and (cont)
Bisexuality Day, and Bisexual Awareness Week, and National Coming Out Day, and National LGBT Center Awareness Day, and Spirit Day, and Intersex Awareness Day, and Asexual Awareness Week, and Transgender Day Of Remembrance, and (cont)
Pansexual Pride Day, and Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week, and Omnisexual Visibility Day, and Non-Binary Awareness Week, and Transgender Parent Day, and every other day and hour and minute of our lives, we really don’t celebrate the LGBT community enough

Agreed. Don’t like this at all. It’s already been done. DC is ready for it. Much more effective protest would be a strike at this point. Another convoy, especially to coincide with the State of the Union, just smells like a disaster with no clear end goal in mind.
What does a win look like here? I mean what exactly is the objective? The whole thing feels off. At best it’s a toothless rehash of what’s been done already. At best.
Also, most of the mandates in this country have already been lifted or defeated in court. Why do this now? Seems very weird to me.

1883 started out as a gritty western and devolved into a politically correct soap opera about an annoying teenage girl's love life and kindly Comanche warriors who save hapless white people from other more evil white people. Never seen a show fall off so quickly.
It's a western starring Sam Elliot so let's instead focus almost the entire story on the teenage girl, because that's what most western fans want to see. Great idea.
The ultimate jump the shark moment is when the girl and the heroic superhero Comanche warrior make out during a tornado and later the girl describes the storm that devastated her whole caravan as "beautiful"

A health magazine published a whole issue celebrating obesity and the resulting content is totally indistinguishable from satire. Just look at this. It’s incredible. Thread:
The job of a fitness instructor now is to be a “fat ally.” I guess the job of an oncologist is to be a “cancer ally.”
Encouragement is bullying

Well that's one way to earn some gas money
I guess a guy who buys one of her jars is a man after her own fart.

You have to respect that she built the business from the ground up though. Sometimes you have to fart from scratch.
She's done with the business now but maybe she'll start it up again later. You know what they say: absence makes the fart grown fonder

Nobody knows if CTE exists, or what it is if it does exist, or how it affects behavior if it does affect it at all, much less which athletes have it if any of them do, yet in spite of all of this you, a random person on Twitter, have diagnosed Antonio Brown with the condition. Ok
What I do know is that football used to be a hell of a lot more violent than it is today, and players used a lot less protection, and yet you didn't have guys pulling stunts like Antonio Brown

Took the kids to see Spider-Man. Expected it to be bad but it was worse than I thought. These movies have no stakes at all, not even a whiff of suspense or narrative tension. Every problem is solved with miraculous technology or magic or some other deus ex machina device.
[spoilers] A supervillain from a previous film can be turned good with a contraption that a kid whips together in a lab out of scrap metal in three minutes. A wizard can fly in to brainwash the world if that helps. Multiverses and time warps are utilized if the narrative requires
A superhero can stop a train with one hand in one scene but then be knocked unconscious with a simple punch to the head in the next. The rules are rewritten depending on what the writers need for each scene. It’s lazy and boring. Fun for kids but this is shit filmmaking, folks.
