The prank is Pibby.
Pibby invading Adult Swim reruns I mean.
So far this is just... a regular Rick and Morty episode... with like 15 seconds of a Pibby crossover at the start...
They'll be streaming the prank on a 30 minute delay on YouTube it seems:

Prank is also being simulcasted on Adult Swim Canada like the past three.
Pibby, Bun Bun, and the void thing are popping in here and there.
Morty became spooky for a second
Credits glitched a lot. Pibby and Bun Bun (that's the bunny's name right?) said some stuff and also glitched.
Smiling Friends is on. Haven't seen Pibby yet.
Almost nothing really in that Smiling Friends but aside from one datamosh glitch. Corrupted text bump though, that was neat.
Another bump got corrupted. Eric Andre's on now.
Heavy glitching during the start of the Who Killed Hannibal? scene
Only seems like there's one glitchy segment per episode, outside of the multiple segments in Rick and Morty.

Nature bump with Pibby asking why you're ignoring her pleas for help.
Time for Aqua TV Show Show.
Birdgirl is on. Haven't seen Pibby yet.
Bumps still got Pibby. Glitches getting more intense. Bun Bun getting more corrupted.
Was the Pibby cameo a blink and miss it thing? Almost feels like a waste of half an hour. And I like this damn show
Another heavily corrupted bump, followed by the best Joe Pera ep.
Full episode played normally, only the credits had anything different. Pibby's alone and cold.
Prank might be over, as this hour is different on the US and Canada versions (Morty and Futurama in America, double Bob's in Canada). Looks like it'll repeat at 3a on both networks, though.

They didn't announce anything for Pibby though.
Yeah it's over here's an 11 minute highlight reel
Prank is repeating now.

A... very weird ratings bug error on Adult Swim just now.
1. It thinks Rick and Morty is TV-Y7
2. The TV-Y7 icon itself just looks off
2. What's with that E/I symbol on the bottom right??
Also I can't count to 3
The big question is when has CN EVER used this bug? What is its purpose? What is its reasoning for existence?

Animation Domination on Fox is back in full force in a few minutes... if football doesn't screw things over, y'know?

8:00p - The Simpsons
8:30p - The Great North
9:00p - Bob's Burgers
9:30p - Family Guy
Notably, these shows are not airing their premieres on Canadian television anymore, instead heading directly to Disney+. I assume they'll eventually air on Canadian cable (Much, FXX, Adult Swim, etc) still.
If Disney ever decides to stop letting Corus air their Fox cartoons than hoooooooooo boy that 24/7 Adult Swim network is screwed

Tonight ends perhaps one of the most notable syndication deals of all time, Family Guy on Adult Swim.

The show was given to Adult Swim basically for free by Fox. Turned out to be REALLY beneficial for both of them. Adult Swim had a ratings success and Fox had a cult classic.
According to the art book, 20th TV started making season 4 before Fox had even ordered it, with the intent that if Fox passed, it would be going to Adult Swim. Which would have been crazy, considering Adult Swim was just this rinky dinky programming block on a kids network.
Fox of course picked it up, so 20th TV gave Adult Swim the next best thing. They'd get to air the new episodes of both Family Guy and American Dad just a week or so after they air on Fox. Which, again, was crazy. Especially considering Fox and AS weren't sister stations.
