Looks like Cartoon Network on-air operations have changed dramatically today.
- Now using Discovery rating bugs
- Playing credits full screen

There's still a Cartoonito screenbug during Cartoonito if you were wondering. Though now, it's at the bottom right during Cocomelon, covering some of the images.

It seems like their playout system has changed over to the Discovery side of things. Not sure how this'll affect AS.

Welp, it's happening. TweetDeck is updating to its new and "improved" version for good while also, in 30 days, making it exclusive to Twitter Blue subscribers. I'd rather die. Any improvements the new TweetDeck has (and there are, I've dabbled with it here and there) are moot because the new site STILL doesn't have support for posting from multiple accounts on one account. You gotta manually switch accounts and with it have your whole page refresh.

Interesting observation... @cartoonnetwork has removed almost all tweets mentioning Infinity Train or Mao Mao's existence.

They've also removed every Infinity Train or Mao Mao video off of their YouTube. @cartoonnetwork Looks like similar things are happening to OK K.O. as well.

Infinity Train's soundtrack also seems to be in the process of getting removed online, too.

Layoffs have hit HBO and HBO Max, primarily affecting HBO Max's non-fiction originals, international, acquisitions, casting, and live-action family originals teams.

Important note: HBO and HBO Max's scripted team have basically been untouched. deadline.com/2022/08/hbo-ma… HBO's head of comedy, Amy Gravitt, is taking oversight of HBO Max's comedy as the two groups combine. Susanna Makkos, most recently the EVP of original comedy and animation for both HBO Max and Adult Swim, will stay on.

A... very weird ratings bug error on Adult Swim just now.
1. It thinks Rick and Morty is TV-Y7
2. The TV-Y7 icon itself just looks off
2. What's with that E/I symbol on the bottom right?? Also I can't count to 3

Animation Domination on Fox is back in full force in a few minutes... if football doesn't screw things over, y'know?

8:00p - The Simpsons
8:30p - The Great North
9:00p - Bob's Burgers
9:30p - Family Guy Notably, these shows are not airing their premieres on Canadian television anymore, instead heading directly to Disney+. I assume they'll eventually air on Canadian cable (Much, FXX, Adult Swim, etc) still.

Tonight ends perhaps one of the most notable syndication deals of all time, Family Guy on Adult Swim.

The show was given to Adult Swim basically for free by Fox. Turned out to be REALLY beneficial for both of them. Adult Swim had a ratings success and Fox had a cult classic. According to the art book, 20th TV started making season 4 before Fox had even ordered it, with the intent that if Fox passed, it would be going to Adult Swim. Which would have been crazy, considering Adult Swim was just this rinky dinky programming block on a kids network.
