Tradition is, on the day of YugAdi people eat in the morning after taking bath, performing Pooja/Nityakarma a sauce made with combination of 6 ingredients that gives 6 different tastes #Shadruchi. Ingredients R,

philosophy in eating this sauce with Shadruchi is to say that Life is not a bed of roses, rather a mixture of sadness, happiness, anger, fear, disgust, surprise which has to be accepted together with equanimity. Eating this on this day one gets courage to face obstacles in life.
