'Suspended' Chairperson of @OurMDCTHarare, @ZMhetu has broken rank with embattled party leader, @DMwonzora accusing him of a litany of charges, including leadership failure & responsibility for @OurMDCT by-elections humiliation
'Was blocked entery into HH after reporting what the voters said. I'm being victimised for telling the truth. I wanted to raise a vote of no confidence motion on Mwonzora in the National Council. Since the formation of MDC, it has never failed dismally in elections'
'a President is the party CEO. Our failure to not even get a single seat was caused by Mwonzora's failure to create good strategies, friendly to the electorate. I can clearly state that Mwonzora is dining with ZanuPF. He doesn't do anything that grows the party.'
'When Mwonzora takes to the podium, all he does is attack Chamisa. I've never heard him attacking ZanuPF. Mwonzora is clearly an appendage of ZanuPF. Since receiving gov grants, Mwonzora has never funded crucial departments of the party, like security department'
'It's the duty of security department to make assessments & advice the party whether to participate in an election. I felt humiliated for failing dismally in Epworth. Had Mwonzora funded the security dep, it may have advised us to boycott the elections.'
'Mwonzora is so incompetent. @OurMDCT didn't do primary elections as per our constitution. Mwonzora pinpointed preferred candidates & created disharmony in the party. Because Mwonzora is an appendage of ZanuPF, he is victimising me for trying to resuscitate the party'
'Mwonzora pinpointed me to run in Epworth & I refused. He then called me to his lawfirm & promised US $10 k to all candidates which wasn't sufficient as I needed US $50k. He convinced me to accept his idea & I submitted my nomination lackadaisically.
'When campaigns started, Mwonzora only gave me RTGS $100k not even enough to service my car. I plunged US $50k. Had I participated as an independent candidate, I would have performed better or even won. People of Epworth were saying your party is ZanuPF's appendage.'
'People of Epworth were saying, we know you're development oriented, but if we elect you, all credit will go to Mwonzor & we don't want to be humiliated by the rest of peace loving Zimbabweans for electing Mwonzora. They said remove Mwonzora's tag & we'll vote for you'
'I had prepared a vote of no confidence on Mwonzora & had mobilised members to support it in the National Council. Members were stating fear of victimisation. I don't have aspirations to be @OurMDCT President. My drive it so build be party & bring back its glory'
'I want to admit @CCCZimbabwe is the biggest Opp political party in Zimbabwe & whatever it does, doesn't make people doubt they're a real Opp. Since my emotions & tempers are high, I won't comment on my next move. When I'm calm, I'll plan & strategize my next move'
'If @OurMDCT doesn't remove @DMwonzora, then thats the end of the party. Was pained saying Vincent Tsvangirai stopping me from entering HH. He doesn't know his late father's party is now a carcass. My ideas were to resuscitate the party, unfortunately they are blind'
'@DMwonzora is not qualified even to lead a family. He cant even lead his personal life. How can we think his family is even safe. He doesn't even have a car, but borrows from people. He was given a car for being Opposition Leader in Parly, and for being a Senator.'
'Mwonzora was given cars by the gov, sold them & splashed the money with girlfriends. Would you trust such a person to be your leader? If Mwonzora continues as the helm of @OurMDCT, we are going nowhere. I'm challenging him formally & constitutionally.'
'I didn't want to stage a coup. I wanted to use the National Council, the highest decision making body in our party @OurMDCT outside Congress, to ask @DMwonzora to step down, failure of which, I was going to move a motion of no confidence in him'

2] It has always been important for Adv Chamisa to know the MPs & Councillors who were rallying behind him.
Post the Supreme Court Judgement, there was a deliberate decision to have MPs especially, sign affidavits affirming their membership to MDC-A party, when MDC-T broke away
3] The consequence of this was creating a distinction between representatives who stood by the people, & those who decided to protect selves from recalls, thus siding with Mwonzora.
The affidavits were both important legally & politically, to both signatories & those who didn't.
Couldn't stay away today, and miss being part of history.
Would have tweeted from the grave, if circumstances were that way.
The beautiful journey we citizens began on Jan 24th, has culminated into a yellow victory, totally worth celebrating.
2] Don't be dragged into downplaying the significance of the by-elections outcome.
Our movement is just but 2 months old.
We had no funds.
Our rallies we're systematically disrupted.
Many were beaten, some killed.
We found comfort in knowing we had each other, & we delivered.
3] With so much militating against the citizens' movement, winning 75/122 (61.5%) Council seats, & 19/28 (68%) Constitutencies, in an inaugural run, is worth celebrating.
Over & above that, we also observe that there are many many many more battles won yesterday.
Pursuant of the ancient wisdom "dzokororo ine simba", Simboti decided to redo his Harare Rally, after the unsurprising, yet embarrassing Zororo ground disaster.
Took time later on, to watch the rally, and a few things are becoming clear.
2] In terms of optics, one wonders why they decided to redo the rally
Evidently, Zororo Rally (1st pic) had predominantly Hararians, while for Zimbabwe Grounds rally (2nd pic), they mobilised from far & wide
If the end was supposed to justify the means, this was a disasterclass
3] Secondly, there is leadership deficiency in MDC
It doesn't help matters that the leader himself is incoherent.
He stammers & easily confuses himself
There isn't a single orator in MDC-T, who can "work a crowd"
I've attended funerals more enjoyable than the MDC-T gatherings
Thank you Beitbridge citizens for braving the threats I'm told you were receiving from the state from yesterday. That's vintage ZanuPF. Violence shows a behaviour of people who know they are on their way out
We are winning in 2023 because we are # 1. After 2023, we will restore Zimbabwe to be #1. We will be #1 in sports; functional economy; national wealth.
When we lift the finger ☝ it symbolises that we are #1 and we are going to win in 2023 because of that.
1] Evidently, the Harare regime, which had not budgeted for the Yellow revolution that has taken over the country, is now going out of its way, trying to contain @nelsonchamisa
Just like the MDC-A party before it, @CCCZimbabwe has effectively been outlawed by the junta regime
2] @CCCZimbabwe held its inaugural #YellowSaturday rally at Zim grounds Harare, under stringent measures, albeit successfully.
Since then, it has been total chaos.
The Gokwe rally was cancelled while citizens were butchered in Kwekwe.
Other rallies were systematically thwarted
3] This weekend and the ensuing few days, @CCCZimbabwe had planned four rallies, as follows:
Sat 12 March - Marondera
Sun 13 March- Beitbridge
Mon 14 March- Tsholotsho
Tue 15 March - Binga
As it currently stands, all four rallies have been banned by the junta regime.
