For a common man , Halal means the way animals are slaughtered for meat.
Actually it's much more than that.
All companies selling any product to Muslims are forced to obtain a Halal Certificate
How it works.
Muslim organisations order Muslims through various fatwas that they are supposed to consume only #Halal certified items, failing which they may face severe repurcussions. A common muslim never dares to disobey
Manufacturers are then told to obtain #HalalCertificate for which they have to pay hefty price. Companies fall for this trap since they don't want to loose their customers.
Even veg items are included
What's interesting is that companies technically pay twice before selling their products.
First to #FSSAI , a govt owned agency and then to Muslim organisations which issue #HalalCertificates
Obviously the increased price is borne by the consumer
Therefore we can say that both govt and a religious organization issue certificates for selling your products in #India which is constitutionally #Secular
In other words 15% population decided what other 85% will consume because they are liberal in their choices
In other words, a so called minority charges tax for allowing companies to sell their products
So, once all halal norms are complied with, it becomes mandatory for companies to employ 'Only Muslims' in certain sectors, thereby establishing monopoly
You may like or not but Population is one of the major factors. A survey in Hyderabad revealed a Muslim couple was having 3 to 6 children on an average.
Do you really think, it is economically feasible for those parents to ensure good education for all?
National Average suggests that around 4 to 8% of Muslim children go to Madarsas ,70 to 75% to private schools and balance to govt schools. Since the cost of education has grown everywhere, isn't it your responsibility to teach your community about smaller families.
The India they grew up in taught them that it's FOE to insult Hinduism, whereas any remarks on them was Islamophobia.
The India they grew up in showed them a PM who openly stated "Minorities have the first right on the resources of the Country".
The India they grew up in made them propagate 'Terrorism has no religion' despite Genocide of Kashmiri Pandits, Mumbai 92-93, Parliament Attack, Delhi Bombing, Mumbai Attacks etc
Shaheen Bagh protests aimed at following:- 1. Assessing Police reaction in case of prolonged blockade created 2. Testing Govt's will to implement the CAA/NRC Bill. 3. Labeling Govt as Islamophobic
During Farmer's Protest , the idea was to label Govt as Anti -Farmer and Anti-Punjab.
Well they succeeded and Govt roll backed the Farmers bill as well as BJP Lost in Punjab.
