🧵 I agree with most of the points here. @ElrondNetwork seems to be too centralised and too unwelcoming to developers compared to its competitors.

Here's my perspective on Elrond NFTs visavis the fundamentals of Elrond.
I don't have the sufficient expertise to claim, as the quoted post seems to do, that the major issue behind these symptoms of Elrond is the sharding architecture. I came across other people advocating that at least Elrond's implementation of sharding is not optimal.
What I do know, however, is that nearly every developer on Elrond NFTs that I have talked to complain about Elrond APIs and lack of proper developer guidance.
It is not a coincidence, for instance, I think, that the mighty @Gnogen believes development on Elrond needs a huge boost, and seeks to create solutions for themselves.

It is also not a coincidence, I believe, that despite their excellent delivery on Elrond, @Karithaio is looking beyond Elrond with the initiatives like @playclubnano.

Both of these projects are Elrond loyals, but they seem to be facing the same problem.
Here's a little example. A layman's comparison between the two websites below provides some evidence as to where that core problem might be lying:

elrond.com/blog/its-time-…

solana.com/developers
If I were an artist looking to explore NFTs without any prior knowledge, I'd hesitate to choose Elrond among the two based on these web-sites.

Elrond might the superior and better functioning chain, but, what matters most to the developers is the ease of building and outreach.
Similarly, although Elrond's NFT protocols have certain superiorities over Ethereum's on some regards, it is nowhere near being the most advanced NFT protocol among the likes of the @RmrkApp.
Features like upgradable NFTs, NFTs owning other NFTs, NFT chainings, cross-chain movement are lacking on Elrond. They are lacking now in Ethereum, as well, but having NFTs in the form of smart contracts have one advantage: They can bring themselves up to speed if they so choose.
It is also a worrying sign for my part that, on Elrond, a single NFT project's API implementation can bring almost the entire network to a halt.
I am a believer in cross/multi-chain future. The market is now too varied and diversely invested at this point that no single chain can arise as the premier one besides BTC. Either the entire smart contract market will collapse, or we will have a multi-chain future.
Therefore, however loyal they feel about #ElrondNetwork, I invite all the developers of #ElrondNFT space to consider possiblities of reaching beyond Elrond. Not to abondon Elrond, obviously, but to go beyond it.
This thread is not a disbelief of Elrond's promise on my part, but rather an attempt to provide some counterbalance to the Elrond resonance chamber that repeats the fascinating aspects of the chain over and over again.
Embracing the chamber and constantly praising Elrond based on a couple of experts' opinions results in the inability of explaining the stagnation of Elrond's adoption, Elrond NFTs and Elrond's price action.
Just as I have been demanding more accountability from all the NFT projects on Elrond, I strongly believe that we should be even more demanding from the Elrond Team visavis the chain in general.

Remember: There cannot be accountability without criticism and demanding.
An analytic mind cannot be a maxi of anything. It's crucial therefore, that, at least every now and then, one must try to get out of the resonance chamber to see and hear what's happening on the outside.

🧵It is crucial to realise that the core element of a MMORPG like @Karithaio cannot be its art, however beautiful I find it to be.

@Karithaio's promise lies in its mechanics, both game-wise and on-chain. As Amir puts it perfectly, Karitha is a showcase of "utility and execution"
I know that these two words are not merely thrown there. They represent a certain philosophy. A belief about the future of the NFT space.

I daresay that pretty much everyone who think they hold an NFT from the supposedly next BAYC collection are likely to be disappointed.
The landscape is changing, and leaving aside purely artistic NFTs, which are, on the main, replacements of physical forms of art; the future of well-neigh all NFTs will be decided by the utility and value they will bring to their investors.

🧵 The adjective "overrated" is almost always applicable to any given crypto-project from a financial perspective.

Very few would deserve being called "underrated."

@NaturalDegenz is, I believe, one of those in the Elrond NFT space.

Why?
Whatever other utilities they bring, the chief aspect of NFTs is that they are collectibles. They are, for this reason, comparable to works of art and antiques.

As such, it makes sense for there to be an auctioning gallery for NFTs, just like the ones for art and antiques.
@NaturalDegenz is the only project on Elrond that aims realise this scenario.

At its core, it is an auctioning gallery project that aims to purchase other NFTs with the funds raised by their own NFT collections, and then to sell them via their own token.
