🌺।।6 POWERFUL SHANTI MANTRAS IN HINDU DHARMA FOR WORLD AND INNER PEACE।।🌺

Shanti Mantras or the mystic syllables of peace begins with “Om”. Om is considered to be the primeval sound, the sound of the universe, and the sound from which all other sounds are formed.

A Thread 🧵 Image
- Shanti Mantras are generally recited at the beginning and end of religious rituals and discourses.

- They are supposed to calm the mind of the reciter and the environment around them.

- Reciting Shanti Mantra is also believed to be removing any obstacles for the task being started.

- Shanti Mantras always end with three utterances of the word “Shanti” which means “Peace”.

Meaning:

From untruth to Truth! Untruth is the death of the ego. The Truth is eternal and immortal. So once you are part of the Truth, there is no question of death at all. My friends, the third barrier stopping enlightenment is the barrier of ego. Therefore, to experience God, we should see that the ego dies as early as possible.

🌺।।THE CONCEPT OF NARAKA LOKA IN SANATAN HINDU DHARMA AND ITS MENTION IN THE SCRIPTURES।।🌺

Naraka Loka is the equivalent of Hell in Hindu Dharma where those who have sinned are punished after they die.

It is also considered the dwelling place of Yama, the God of Death.

A Thread 🧵Image
When someone dies, the Yamadutas, messengers of Yama, take all souls to Yama’s court. Yama weighs the person’s virtues and vices and passes a judgment, based on which the virtuous ones are sent to Svarga (heaven) and the sinners to one of the Naraka (hell).
🌺।।DEPICTION OF HELL AS PER SCRIPTURES।।🌺

The stay in either Svarga or Naraka is temporary, and after completing the quantum of punishment, the souls are reborn as higher or lower beings according to their actions.

Thread 🧵 Image

🌺।।5 Predictions of Kali Yuga as told by Prabhu Sri Krishna to Pandavas।।🌺

Sri Krishna is Bhagwan Vishnu's eighth Avataram. Once during the time of Mahabharata Sri Krishna told the Pandavas five predictions about the Kali Yuga.

But the way he told those 5 predictions is very interesting.
Let's see how;

Thread 🧵Image
The Pandavas were once instructed by Sri Krishna to travel in five different directions and return with any strange sights so that he could explain how the signs of the Kali Yuga were there.

When the Pandavas returned, this is what they saw and this is what Sri Krishna told them one by one;
1. What Yudhishthira saw ?

To his surprise, Yudhishthira spotted an elephant with two trunks.

According to Sri Krishna, the elephant with two trunks represented the Kings of the Kali Yuga. They would say one thing and do another, taking advantage of people in both ways.
