Alabama HB322 has passed the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee with a favorable report. It is now on the Senate floor and if passed, shall be sent to the Governor. This is a bathroom bill that applies to all public schools, and defines "biological sex" by birth certificate.
Ohio has introduced HB616, which although coached in language that claims to prevent racist ideas being taught, is in truth another one of the horrible "don't say gay or trans" laws. It is another attempt to ban our existences by pretending we do not exist.
Finally, Tennessee has a hearing for HB2316, tomorrow at 11 am CST. This bill is a sports ban that specifically targets trans female students, and requires an unchanged birth certificate to be provided. If unable, then it is the students obligation to "provide other evidence".
