Hey, did you guys see that story yesterday about Hunter Biden renting a pad in Malibu, and the big scandal because his security detail is renting the house next door for $30k/month?
Guess what? There may be a teensy bit more to this story....
2/ Some Malibu locals I know recognized the house in the Daily Mail photos here:
3/ I recalled that this same neighborhood in Malibu had a famous celebrity drug rehab place called Promises. Ben Affleck went there a bunch. It's closed now. The house circled in red below is Hunter's house. These pix are from the DM story.
4/ But I was curious -- why would Hunter move to this fairly out of the way spot up in the hills of Malibu, when he could afford a sick oceanfront pad on Broad Beach or the Colony with the other oligarch failsons?
Readers, She Persisted.
5/ It turns out that Promises is now closed, but a NEW ultra-private celebrity rehab now operates in a house next door to where Promises used to be: Cliffside Malibu.
7/ Here's a photo from their website. You can see the two rental houses in the background.
8/ Here's a map with an arrow from the rehab center to Hunter's supposed location as reported in the Daily Mail.
TL;DR: Hunter Biden is living across the street from a super fancy, top-secret drug rehab facility.
9/ I am not a reporter, but any westside LA locals could have easily figured this out themselves based on the Daily Mail's original story and a little familiarity with Malibu.
Cholada Thai, by the way, is delicious if you're ever up that way.
10/ I draw no conclusions from this interesting coincidence. I have no idea what it means.
Probably nothing.

The styles may change but a few things remain the same. The American It Girl is sexy but not trashy, fresh faced, and radiates *happiness.* She is not a moody French ingenue, or a sultry Italianate seductress. She looks relatively innocent - and fun to be around. She is an old-fashioned Platonic ideal and we are allowed to idolize them.
Here's Adam Pestrello, the County Public Works bureaucrat who said on video that removal will take 18 months - and that Karen Bass lied about in front of President Trump.
Oy veh. Two hours of a dozen California nitwits dancing around the bad news.
Here's my tldr so far: Palisades homeowners aren't going to be able to do a single thing until the EPA completes their Phase 1 "hazardous waste" removal process. This, acc to the EPA Karen, will take "months."
Once all your "hazardous waste" has been removed, then comes Phase 2, which entails the Army Corps of Engineers bulldozing your lot. Again, you will be waiting in a long line for a group of homeowners to be assigned a contract. Yes, you can opt out of debris removal and do it yourself! According to loser Rep. Brad Sherman, this will cost roughly $170k.
Karen Bass said you would be able to start clearing the lots "today."
Sometimes in the battle between good and evil physiognomy alone tells you more than any words can
We see this again and again. It's like a comic book come to life, repeatedly.
One of my favorites was when hideous hobgoblin Jerry Nadler forced Hope Hicks to submit to his questions under oath.
We also saw this when battleax bull d*ke Roberta Kaplan forced Donald Trump to submit to her questions about why he wasn't attracted to her client, E. Jean Carroll.
Just the same trope, over and over. Amazing actually.
Guys, stop bashing Kim Cheatle: she totally thought about putting snipers on that roof, but it’s a sloped roof, so she didn’t want anyone to slip and fall, okay? SAFETY FIRST!
My siblings and I, all grown, nearly middle aged, all basically stable and fine, talk all the time about our own lost potential, stolen childhood happiness, and accepting that were were robbed of something good that was replaced with an endless burden of hostile stepfamilies, awkward relationships, stolen inheritances, squandered wealth, and always wondering what it would have been like if it had been different.
I have a wonderful relationship with both parents. I forgive everything. It's fine. But wow, there were a lot of bombshells that still stress me out.
In my particular situation, one party had no choice but to end it. The lesson I learned is simple: try hard to avoid choices that might hurt your kids.
