2/ but, other than the search, these other actions are on a sort of island. The other actions demonstrate linkages between G2 and DCLeaks (a linkage already known tho not clear) and to Wikileaks and others, but are not, at least in pleadings, direct linkages to Unit 74455 or GRU
3/ even bitcoin trails, which give impression of a linkage to GRU, don't close the loop. The indictment identifies a couple of blockchain transactions, but doesn't show how they connect to GRU. (Indictment says GRU and Conspirators many times, but, unless linked, only armwaving
4/ there's a lot of logic resting on attribution of searches to GRU's Unit 74455. Unlike "ordinary" cyber cases which contain plentiful details of IP addresses, domains etc, Mueller's indictment of Netyshko contains no supporting metadata or evidence for attribution of search
5/ on an a priori basis, it's hard to understand why a hotshot disinformation operation (or even a non-hotshot one) would carry out these particular searches, nor did Mueller ever explain. Why, for example, would GRU do search of "dcleaks", which it was supposedly operating?
6/ and why would the other phrases be searched?
