Three U.S. officials tell NBC News that U.S. claims based on “intelligence” on Russia were made up simply to “preempt the Russians”
One U.S. official: “It doesn’t have to be solid intelligence when we talk about it..”
U.S. propaganda has no basis in truth or reality.
"It doesn't have to be solid intelligence when we talk about," a U.S. official said. "It's more important to get out ahead of them - Putin specifically - before they do something. It's preventative."
NBC News says the U.S. had been accidentally right with its intelligence* claims that Russia was going to launch a military operation.
NBC News: "Multiple U.S. officials acknowledged that the U.S. has used information as a weapon even when confidence in the accuracy of the information wasn’t high. Sometimes it has used low-confidence intelligence for deterrent effect, as with chemical agents,"
"Biden later said it publicly. But three U.S. officials told NBC News this week there is no evidence Russia has brought any chemical weapons near Ukraine. They said the U.S. released the information to deter Russia from using the banned munitions." nbcnews.com/politics/natio…
The stuff about China providing military help to Russia was also made up.
"The U.S. officials said there are no indications China is considering providing weapons to Russia. The Biden administration put that out as a warning to China not to do so," nbcnews.com/politics/natio…
They're lying about chemical weapons just like they lied about Iraq WMDs. At least that's what U.S. officials and U.S. state media is telling us.
Argentina, Chile, Honduras, and Peru voted IN FAVOR of suspending Russia from the UN Human Rights Council. These are your “pink tide” / “leftist governments” 🤣
Today's vote was a test on whether governments have any clue whatsoever on what's happening to the multilateral organization they're a willing member of. These and many others failed the test.
At least some governments clued in to what this vote was all about and realized that it's all downhill from here. You're a willing member of an international body that will just arbitrarily remove countries based on nothing 😝
El Salvador closes the day with 62 homicides per @moverderechopnc. Nayib Bukele declares martial law. Last year, he ordered the doubling of the military to combat gangs, taking it back to its size during the war. Now homicides are skyrocketing. Killings continue at this hour.
🇸🇻 Social movements reject Nayib's militarization. This week, Salvadorans remembered the assassination of Óscar Romero by US-backed death squads at the start of the US-funded war. Today, the US remains the single largest foreign contributor to the Salvadoran military and police.
El Salvador's National Police confirm a figure of 62 homicides on Saturday. At this hour, Nayib's police is exhibiting supposedly captured MS-13 members. This PR stunt wont result in justice for the victims. The exception regime is an excuse to suspend constitutional rights.
When this conflict began, a large part of Latin America rejected the official narrative force fed from the north. Now parties and movements are conducting their own internal learning seminars on the history of NATO and roots of the conflict, and doing so independent of the media.
Rejection of hegemonic media will only grow going forward. People within these movements and parties know that the conflict can't be analyzed through the lens of media which falsifies history and manipulates information. They're turning off the TV and will consult with history.
A very strong talk was given here yesterday by a MAS leader on NATO and the roots of the conflict. We don't have the means to transcribe or subtitle it all but we will share parts along with the link to the talk for those who understand Spanish.
President @NicolasMaduro: The world war has already started and it is economic. The world war in its first economic phase, with sanctions, blockade, uncertainty in the supply of oil, gasoline, iron, steel, wheat, fertilizer, corn, rice, raw materials in general. 1/
2/ President @NicolasMaduro: Uncertainty in prices, in the supply of food, raw materials, energy products, in the use of the currency of the financial system to twist the arms of countries and regions. The world war has already started, the economic war has already started.
3/ "Our warning is not to escalate any further. Our call is for the economic war to not escalate any further and escalate into a military war or into what is worse for humanity and the survival of our species on this planet, into a nuclear war. This is the call I made on Monday."
One of the worst actors of the coup in Bolivia, receiving little attention, is Añez's Foreign Minister Karen Longaric, another neoliberal champion of women. She's called for the EU to sanction Bolivia, her own country, for abstaining from the UNGA vote on Ukraine.
Current MAS Vice Minister Benjamín Blanco condemned the call to sanction all Bolivians, given that Bolivia and 34 countries representing 51.5% of the world population abstained from the vote. According to Longaric's logic, its then necessary to sanction over half the world.
Karen Longaric pulverized Bolivia's relations w/Iran, Nicaragua, and Venezuela + others. In acts of nepotism, she appointed relatives and coup leaders' relatives in Bolivia's embassies. She held MAS leaders hostage in the Mexican embassy for a year, didn't allow them safeconduct.

President @NicolasMaduro: Evaluating the intelligence we have access to, and objective analysis; we are gravely concerned about the possibility of a war in Europe and the extension of the war to different parts of the world.
All concrete analysis of the geopolitical situation that we’ve done on the situation of Ukraine reaffirms our grave concern; this could constitute a Third World War with brutal impacts in prices of fuel, food, fertilizers, transport, ships, etc. Impacts on international security.
