🇻🇪 Venezuela at Security Council: “We believe that we are in front of imminent attack by the United States. All indications tell us that.

It's very rational to think that all these preparations and all these escalations are geared towards an attack on Venezuela.” @SMoncada_VEN 🇻🇪 “There are some people saying here, 'we call all parties to de-escalate'— We have NO conflict whatsoever with the United States. We are not escalating because we are in NO conflict.

This is a fabricated conflict by the United States and the image that there are two parties 'warring' and trying to confront themselves on the Caribbean Sea is ridiculous.

We are only defending our territory, within our territory, which is our right.” @SMoncada_VEN

Venezuela at the Security Council: “We’re here to avert the commission of an international crime.” @SMoncada_VEN “These are extrajudicial killings. There's a killer roaming in the Caribbean, one that is seeking excuses to manufacture a conflict to attack to manipulate the principle of self-defence and he wants to kill more.” @SMoncada_VEN

Gringos are mad at our historic leader for promoting the null vote, or worse, for ‘not stepping aside’—all while Arce’s candidate, Del Castillo, using the stolen MAS party name, strolled into election day polling at 1-2%—refusing to drop out of the race in support of Andronico. With Evo, the MAS received 55%. Without him, the new imposter MAS received 3% of valid votes (less when calculating against votes cast). Now the ‘MAS’ stands to lose party status. They stole the party trademark to drive it into the ground. That's a US-backed right-wing plot.

Canadian writer/activist Yves Engler is spending another night locked up as a political prisoner at the Bordeaux jail in Montreal for the crime of tweeting against Zionism.

@EnglerYves before his arrest: "If we had a minimally-functioning political system, the police would be investigating all these [Israeli-Canadian] soldiers for war crimes.." Prosecutors are trying to force Yves Engler to agree to not speak publicly about the case—a bail condition they've used across Canada to coerce Palestine activists into silence. It's unconstitutional.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) says that the freezing of USAID funds has plunged entire NGOs, media outlets and journalism (🤣) around the world into chaos.

They readily pronounce that much of the world's “journalism” is paid for by Washington's dollars. Image “In Ukraine, 9 out of 10 media outlets rely on USAID funding” Image

The hostile situation in Bolivia further complicates things for Bolivia's friends/allies, who maintain a good relationship with both the Bolivian government and the MAS, led by Evo. They've spent over a year observing closely, walking on eggshells, urging international mediation. The enemy of the Bolivian people is carrying out plots to kill Evo. It's far past the point where it's acceptable to both sides the situation. La Paz hasn't provided an explanation for how it is that police and military facilities were utilized by hitmen and escape helicopters.

'Social media creates a virtual reality controlled by our new archenemy, Elon Musk, who'd like to come with an army to invade Venezuela. Thank god you showed your face. He's after your lithium, people of Argentina. He already controls Ecuador. He's the representation of fascist ideology in the world. Economic power supporting the fascist ideology of extreme right.'

In northern 'democracies', people have to delete their entire phone contents and messaging apps before attending a protest, among other measures, because of the extent of criminalization of anyone involved in anti-genocide organizing. This is NATO's version of "free speech". Surveillance is increasing. People will continue to be criminalized for everything and nothing. @palyouthmvmt has put out information on protecting your identify, devices, safety, surveillance, what to do if you're detained/arrested or visited by police. instagram.com/p/C5Ygrg5gpgq/…

All major platforms have access to the same shared database which they can use to identify and block the same content on their platforms.

It's US-based companies engaging in a form of cross-platform censorship and it impairs our ability to access crucial reporting/information. It's not China, Russia or Iran doing the censoring and information suppression we're seeing: It's US-based companies and platforms working in tandem with the US government. It's common practice for Meta (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp), YouTube, Twitter/X and Microsoft.

Colombia FM: "[Guaido] was accompanied by U.S. agents the entire time in El Dorado and the ticket was supplied by the U.S."

"He wasn't expelled. He had a ticket in his pocket and naturally, the ticket indicated the day, time and line he was traveling on." Foreign Minister @AlvaroLeyva: Juan Guaido entered Colombia without the knowledge of migration officials who don't know where he entered from Venezuela. They learned he was in the country "because of the noise he himself produces." Naturally, migration inquired.

BREAKING: Juan Guaidó went to Bogotá's El Dorado airport with the intention of fleeing to the United States on a commercial flight, having entered Colombia irregularly, according to Colombian Migration. @MigracionCol Juan Guaidó boarded the Bogotá to Miami Avianca flight at 11pm local time.

CNN and Voz de América report that a source close to Guaido said he was "forced to leave Colombia by the government of Gustavo Petro" in what seemed like an "expulsion" from the country.

Socialism is not on the ballot in Brazil. Most Brazilians aren’t seeking socialism, they simply wouldn’t support it if it were on the ballot, and a large section of the population is demonstrably anti-communist. The term imperialism doesn’t even appear in this campaign. In Latin America, populations are not electing new socialist governments. Outside of four countries, the majorities are not demanding socialism. The common demand is for economic policies to immediately improve living conditions — and not a project of deep structural changes.

Lula reiterated that he’s against abortion again this morning: “That's an answer I've already given. I am against abortion. I am against abortion, I am the father of five children, the grandfather of eight grandchildren, the great-grandfather of one great-granddaughter”. They’re going hard for the Christian vote and evangelicals in particular - a huge % of the population.

There are people eating out of trash cans everywhere in São Paulo and Rio and it's completely normalized. The conditions in this country have dramatically deteriorated since 2016 yet this reality continues to not exist for the international mainstream press. For mainstream press, social problems exist under socialist governments and not neoliberal regimes. They operate with a permanent gag order on publishing anything exposing the true nature of neoliberalism. Honest reporting on the catastrophic affects of imperialism is prohibited.

The United States has put target on Nicaragua, manufacturing bogus claims around human rights, press freedom, political prisoners and detentions. U.S. groups which purport to be anti-imperialist have a responsibility to condemn the blatant and sinister hypocrisy of the US/OAS. Not one claim that has been made about Nicaragua by U.S. functionaries/the OAS is true. These campaigns are lined top to bottom with a comprehensive set of completely manufactured lies, conceived in Washington and Miami. Anti-imperialists must respond to this relentless campaign.

Two weeks ago, the FBI attacked and conducted raids on the African People's Socialist Party. The APSP—which is critical of the Biden regime— has been the target of harassment and intimidation by the regime.

WHERE is the OAS resolution backed by CARICOM states to condemn this? Where is the concern for the deteriorating state of political and civil rights in the U.S. where the regime continues to threaten, harass, and detain its citizens?

Who will condemn the harassment and surveillance of organizations which are critical of the Biden regime?

Today, all Caricom states, with the exception of SVG, joined the U.S. and its satellite states in voting in favor of an interventionist resolution condemning the revolutionary Sandinista government for safeguarding its sovereignty and ejecting illegal foreign agents. There is no logic to this disgraceful vote. Almost every Caricom country has in some form or another spoken out against the brutality of the US blockade and sanctions on Cuba, and now Venezuela, and say the OAS lost legitimacy due to Luis Almagro's actions and the Bolivia coup.
