1/ Here’s what I will say about this breaking news regarding Ali Alexander: Congress must familiarize itself with every Periscope video Alexander ever recorded, and every interview he ever did with Alex Jones that was recorded in either audio or video.

This material is stunning.

2/ Some of you may recall that after Ali Alexander spoke to the Committee in December, I began work on the Alexander entry in the ongoing “Coming Collapse” series at PROOF. I had to delay that article because the nature of the material I was finding on Alexander was jaw-dropping.

3/ I’ve watched so many hours of video of Alexander, and listened to so many hours of audio, that I can tell you for certain that the man is a mentally unwell pathological liar with a Jesus Complex and a *strong* penchant for violence. Nothing he says can be taken at face value.

4/ Witness what Ali Alexander says even in this breaking news story, claiming that he has no earthly idea what information he could possibly give to Congress. Let me be clear: perhaps no person living in America has more to offer Congress than Ali Alexander does. And he knows it.

5/ Any Congressional investigator who goes into an interview with Ali Alexander, and/or any federal prosecutor who goes into a grand jury with Ali Alexander, and hasn’t made themselves into a *literal expert* on all things Ali Alexander, will screw everything up...and colossally.

6/ This is a man who recorded and published a video just a few days before the attack on the Capitol in which he advocated the *fire-bombing of a D.C. hotel* because the hotel had canceled his reservation.

You cannot possibly understand how dangerous this man is and wants to be.

7/ I intend no disrespect to any federal official in saying I seriously doubt whether anyone in the government is currently capable of handling/dealing with Alexander as a congressional witness or a witness in a criminal investigation. There’s just too much one has to understand.

8/ When I write about Alexander at PROOF, my approach—based on hours and hours of following his career and writings and recordings—is to treat him as America’s most dangerous domestic terrorist. So if you’re a journalist and not thinking of him that way, you’ve missed your story.

9/ This is why I pulled back on the article I’d originally planned to publish about Alexander. Even though PROOF had already published more than a dozen articles on him, it had become clear to me that no one article or even a dozen could at this point circumscribe his operation.

10/ It doesn’t matter whether he’s in an unsworn interview with Congress or sworn testimony before a grand jury, if Alexander’s speaking, he’s lying. The closest he’s ever come to the truth is in the videos he thought no one but his followers would see. Everything else: bullshit.

11/ This is a man who believes he’s on a mission from God to wash America clean with the blood of those who oppose him. So the NYT blithely reporting he’s “cooperating” with Congress suggests that perhaps neither the NYT nor Congress understand who the f*** they are dealing with.

12/ I’ve watched videos in which Alexander is in public and suddenly lets down his guard. You see the face he doesn’t want anyone to see; you suddenly understand the dead-eyed sociopath he is. He may be the single most dangerous US witness Congress or DOJ has sought to work with.

13/ I understand that when I say what I just said, you’ll think I’m exaggerating. But Congress and DOJ—for all the criminals and even domestic terrorists they’ve had contact with in the past—have never dealt with a man so fanatically committed to collapsing America as we know it.

14/ The only reason to cut a deal w/ a domestic terrorist like Alexander is if he’s giving you intel that lets you imprison Trump as the leader of a seditious cabal looking to make 2022 America’s last free and fair election. If you’re using Alexander any other way, you f***** up.

15/ So I’m going to consider today’s breaking news simultaneously significant and terrifying—because until there’s any public indication that Congress or anyone else in the federal government knows what the hell they’re doing with Ali Alexander, I’m only *unsettled* by this news.

(PS) Someone in the comments referred to Alexander as America’s Bin Laden, and that’s not far from the truth. So if the New York Times thinks it can casually report that our government is now working with America’s Bin Laden, just...no. There should be alarms sounding everywhere.
