Travelling to Turkey 5. Alaçatı & Şirince
I continued my journey in #Turkey to #Alaçatı, a historical and traditional town in Turkey’s Çeşme Peninsula, on the Aegean Sea known for beaches, Greek old stone houses with narrow streets & traditional atmosphere which was so lovely.1/3
On my way to Alaçatı, I moved on to #Şirince, a very beautiful village in #Izmir Province located 8 kilometres from Ephesus. It was an important water source for ancient Ephesus. Today the village prospers through agriculture (like🍇🍏🍑).I found it a very peaceful village. 2/3
People in Şirince were so kind.I spent a great time there & drank Turkish coffee & ate Gozleme & delicious ice cream.I liked every alleys & streets & especially the traditional Bazar.
It was brilliant being there but I had to continue my journey. Istanbul! Will write about it.3/3
