My friend had Horrible experience with Indigo Airlines #indigoairlines#IndiGoflight & Bangalore airport Security checking #bangaloreairport
On 10th April, she had to travel alone with 2 kids: 8 & 4 years old. The flight being early mng(0635 IST) was itself a difficult episode.
She reached at 0525 IST. Rushing through with the kids, she ran to the check in counter & was told that the counters were closed and that no way she could take the flight. Asked why so, & 1 of the male ground staff said that she had to be there at least 2 hours befor the departur
Did tell him that there was no where that if was mentioned and especially when we had web check in done...what about that....?
He allowed me after 2 minutes saying to carry the luggage meant for check in as well.I said fine...carrying 2 bags (meant for check in), back pack on me,
my son carryin his bag and lil daughter hers....we started to run....
My bad luck!!!!
I see the security checking choked with people....but it was all haphazard!!!!! No checking if there were ppl from flights which are due for boarding or not.
I finally get through to a security
officer who takes my bag as I had bottle of homemade wine. I told him..fine scrap the bottle and let me go..NO..He asked me to empty the bottle...dispose it off and then go...while I had to take care of my kids..I cried...but no...
Finished that and rushed to gate 3
was told that since the gate was closed few mins ago nothing could be done...
The man and woman from Indigo staff were not even ready to do anything. Told me to go to gate 13...asked why... to check if I had any options for next flight?
I then rushed with both my kids.....
there was asked to go to the reservation counter and then asked to pay the difference....it came to 31000 for the three of us!!!!!!. I didn't have an option considering the kids were with me...paid and stayed for the next flight which was at 1300 IST.
When we were boarding the next flight (6E 6345) I see few passengers who had also been in the same situation like mine for the early morning flight and were not allowed to go ahead....on approaching them found that they had been provided a fare difference of just 2500 each!!!!!
So why the heck was I I tortured especially when an alone woman was travelling with 2 small kids....were Indigo staff so blind? Or is this a bloody scam? #Indigo@IndiGo6E@BLRAirport
