YangYang prepared a rap too! (Sry idk if I’d get hunted down for c*pyright so I had to remove just in case but I’m sure u can find clips) Guozhen said the reason he and Yang Money prepared this intro today was because of the topic “My rap strengths”

First OP recounted the first time she experienced rap music because of last week’s “Goblin” discussion with Zhuama and it was from an OST from that drama. Afterwards, they also started listening to NCT rap songs, so YangMoney is one of their favorite earlier rappers they knew

YangYang and Guozhen praised OP and said they’re looking forward to the rest of the messages!
🤓: I’m really curious - do people usually write down the lyrics and then look for the beat/music?

🐑: actually everyone is different! I write the lyrics after hearing the music/beat. Like I won’t rap about something happy when the beat is rly sad you know you have to listen to it first. As far as lyrics…I usually have a lot to say so it’s like a train 😂 but yeah it’s a +

+ combination of life experience…although I don’t have a ton of life experience rn haha. A combination of personal experiences and things you see…sometimes when I’m in the car on the way to schedules I’ll thing of some strange things and I’m like “oh I think I can use it” and+

+write it down hahaha
🐑: I think anyone can rap! I’m not a “professional” but I’ll just say this 😆 everyone’s voice is very unique, so to find a vocal range/register you’re comfortable with the sound that comes out is usually rly good.

🐑: when I talk I usually have a lot of air/breath, so that’s why when I rap I also have a lot of air and it sounds softer. But then some people will have more direct/stronger raps so everyone’s feel is different!

🤓: ah but there’s no right way/answer right?
🐑: right! Just like singing! It’s everyone’s personal opinion. Do you have a favorite rapper?
🤓: gimme a song period to think this over 😆 but I see our YangMoney expresses himself well! I thought it had to be like u said very+

+ strong/direct raps, but hearing you rap is a totally different feeling as well! So let me think about it haha

Next OP recounted “Leonidas” that yangyang wrote lyrics to and Kun helped compose the backtrack. OP said the first time they heard it they were impressed by the lyrics and difficulty of the song so they practiced it for a long time but they were still getting tongue tied haha

🐑: actually, I got tongue tied a lot while recording this too! I recorded w/ Kun ge about 1-2 yrs ago and at the time I was still really into fast paced raps haha but the me now probably wouldn’t anymore! But this is still a memory :D OP covered it really really well! 😄

Next OP is not very confident in their rapping skills, but really like “Misfit” that yangyang was in! OP rly wanted to cover it well and even got people to do makeup/outfits, lighting, filming, etc. and said it was rly tiring because it was only themselves covering it
