1. The issue about Zim is that we are in a sewer, but many of us are focused on buying the most expensive air freshener to ward off the stench (eg drilling boreholes, installing solar, sticking to private medical facilities, buying off road vehicles to drive in town)
2. The sad thing is, to many who are buying these nice air fresheners, the stench we are warding off will go away for a short while but it means we have to work extra hard 4 our kids to avoid the same stench. Some, because of the status attached to air freshener want the sewer
3. Some are attached to being the "Only One" in a sea of poverty not knowing that to gain more riches you need as many people affording your services and spending on what you sell. A great country makes you even greater.
4. We have been all forced to accept that this sewer is the best we can ever get, with others opting for "benevolent" dictatorship whilst keeping us in a pile of poo! No bazalwane, we must end the sewer pond first and build a habitable residence.
5. A residence where one needs not spend on air freshener to subsidize the Governments failure but one where everyone can breathe free. I apologize for the somewhat graphic examples but at times we need them to understand that #ZanuPFMustGo

1. Zanu PF comforts itself in that our parents and grandmothers some who where brutalized by guerillas pre-independence, in 1980, Gukurahundi, 1990s,2000-2013 will never become radicalized and wage a campaign of violence.
2.Sadly, the people have a breaking point, our mothers and fathers vote for Zanu-PF because they simply want peace. They know a losing Zanu is unhinged, however what they don't know is just how many people are abandoning democratic means for change.
3. It is unfathomable that there can be an equally violent opposing force in the landscape but the truth is that the conditions are ripe for such a force. In 2019 after the raping of many girls and women by the army, a lot of people were terribly hurt.

1. Watching a documentary on the 2002 Elections, Didymus Mutasa legit saying that if there was no MDC there would not have been any need for violence. He goes on to claim that Zanu PF supporters are actually victims.
2. Tonderai Ndira is also profiled briefly and his story and activities for the opposition detailed. He was a passionate cadre. He took his family to safety before the elections and immediately went to fetch a victim of political violence from the hospital. Such dedication!
3. Mutasa alleges that if MDC wins there will be mayhem! Tsvangirai details the plan the MDC had for Zimbabwe to restore the nation to a proper path of recovery.

1. Last night I made a quick run to the store and as I was driving off there was a couple who were parked by the side of the road arguing. The guy attempted to slap the lady and I immediately stopped and got out of my car and asked the lady if everything was ok.
2. Did she not act as if there was nothing going on. It was now more like I was the problem and I just got back into the car and drove off. It was such a sad situation, I cannot imagine what happened after that.
3. I then remembered attending Magistrates Court in Zimbabwe a few years back and many ladies would come and drop charges against their husbands or partners fearing that if they testify against their husbands their source of sustenance would dry up.

1. If only Zanu PF was a party like other parties, not depending on the State to carry out its political activities, pillaging the State and using the security agencies for settling its political scores, then for sure, we would not worry about who sings for them at what rally.
2. But Zanu-PF is not any ordinary party, it is a cruel, malevolent and deeply evil entity. It revels in the oppression of others and scoffs at democratic processes. It has entrenched dictatorship with a unique brand of cruelty.
3. As such choosing to support Zanu-PF is always going to attract questions on one's integrity. There is no redeemable quality it posseses, just looting and oppression. Most of us pretend not to know that we are under a dictatorship. The ZPF Govt IS the oppressor.

1. If we had invested in Post Traumatic disorder treatment for the 1980 Cabinet we could have saved many lives. Imagine a paranoid person like Mutsvangwa inheriting an entire State architecture that was also paranoid about uprisings and rebellion.
2. The guys were traumatized and unwell mentally and unfortunately they got into a State system that was also securocratic and paranoid. It was a ticking time bomb, as soon as the opportunity arose they had found an enemy to go after.
3. Our Govt cannot exist without a Boogeyman or enemy to go after. They are not defined by the aspirations they have for the citizens but by what they always seek to "fight". The entire country is a crime scene, evidence of paranoia is seen in the daily SIs that are passed.

1. Dear Zim, healing a genocide entails very uncomfortable conversations. Some of us only tell in part because telling the stories will retraumatize those we know. However, when we say some things, they are only a tip of the iceberg. There are mountains of trauma wc are hidden
2. To build relationships that last, we must sit through these sessions which are akin to a visit to the dentist without anesthesia. If you are not yet prepared to have these conversations, steer clear and observe, lest you cause harm and fray relationships.
3. Develop the ability to listen, thank God for those who speak out, those who provoke you to think harder, at least they have spoken. Some will not speak but act, those are the ones I fear because they have given up on Zimbabwe.
