1. Remember that everytime they have launched a new currency in the last 8 years, there has always been confusion in the first 3 to 6 months. The lack of clarity is by design, it paralyzes the nation whilst them and their friends take advantage of the situation to double if not triple their fortunes. 2. Remember the fuel scam? You get USD from RBZ go to the black market change it at 1:5 and then go back to RBZ redeem your bond notes in USD = Instant millionaire! And the fun part is that you didn't even have to supply the fuel at all.

1. We believe in huroyi because at a very low to medium key level tinotoroya. The heating up of things in SA has some Zimboz very happy because they would love to have their fellow brothers and sisters return with nothing. 2. Imagine having worked for 20yrs in Zim resigned and your pension was worth only 125USD and you left to start again and now that could be threatened and the focus of people who are not even active in terms of civic duty is "dzokai tibvise Zanu-PF".

1. Zimbabwean refugee system is cruel, vindictive and terrible. It is equivalent to prison, we keep other nationals in inhumane conditions. Tongogara camp is a death trap. Fellow Africans are locked up in worse conditions than they fled. 2. Zim immigration laws are vicious, they almost have no pathway to citizenship outside marriage. Our immigration laws are even more cruel towards fellow Africans, worse against asylum seekers.

1. It is dangerous to have hope that Zanu PF can wake up one day and realize that our collective future is intertwined and they will treat us with dignity and respect because we are all Zimbabweans. 2. Whenever the opposition put forward an olive leaf of friendship it has always been followed and repaid by the most gruesome cruelty and evil. It is becoming an exasperating situation, where the victim is apologizing and the abuser is emboldened instead of stopping the abuse

1. When @BitiTendai was on air with Chris Mutsvangwa he simply said, "...that you fought the liberation war cannot be used as a source of impunity for the brutality and misgovernance..."...to this Chris retorted "we have the institutions of Power". 2. By that he was referring to the Security Sector, you see these guys are clear, their power is based on control of the Security Sector. There is simply no intellectual paradigm to it, it is a simple shoot to kill ethos. This is why the comparisons with Smith are coming.

1. Like Mugabe before him, ED has an expansive network of informers and varakashi, who delude him into thinking that the empire is intact, they exaggerate perceived enemies to justify brutality, yet the writing is on the wall. Their demise will shock many! 2. When you create a wall of security agents in order to keep getting paid by you they will always bring you massaged intel to make themselves seem like they are doing amazing work. By centering intelligence as the core of running a country the President like Mugabe is boxed in.

1. I've been reading the responses on the Smith vs Zanu PF leaders issue. It is shocking that some think it is a party position 😩..Our biggest problem after Zanu-PF is nuance. Hey Bafo, we struggle with nuance and we exaggerate minors so that we argue on what has not been said. 2. No one would want Smith back, the extent to which they don't want him back is matched by their desire to get Zanu PF out! It is sad that some people here, architects of propaganda will take this and plaster it as a party position. It is citizens having a conversation.

1. GMB used to buy grain above its selling price. So during those days when the Retired Brigadiers took over, they milked that facility, simply moving the same grain they bought back and forth and cashing in on the price differential. 2. Many people got obscenely rich, because all you had to do was bring your grain get paid and then use the same lorry to buy grain at below the GMB purchase price. This is why many farms lay idle, why wait for 7 months to harvest when you can simply cycle the same grain?

1. The issue about Zim is that we are in a sewer, but many of us are focused on buying the most expensive air freshener to ward off the stench (eg drilling boreholes, installing solar, sticking to private medical facilities, buying off road vehicles to drive in town) 2. The sad thing is, to many who are buying these nice air fresheners, the stench we are warding off will go away for a short while but it means we have to work extra hard 4 our kids to avoid the same stench. Some, because of the status attached to air freshener want the sewer

1. Zanu PF comforts itself in that our parents and grandmothers some who where brutalized by guerillas pre-independence, in 1980, Gukurahundi, 1990s,2000-2013 will never become radicalized and wage a campaign of violence. 2.Sadly, the people have a breaking point, our mothers and fathers vote for Zanu-PF because they simply want peace. They know a losing Zanu is unhinged, however what they don't know is just how many people are abandoning democratic means for change.

1. Watching a documentary on the 2002 Elections, Didymus Mutasa legit saying that if there was no MDC there would not have been any need for violence. He goes on to claim that Zanu PF supporters are actually victims. 2. Tonderai Ndira is also profiled briefly and his story and activities for the opposition detailed. He was a passionate cadre. He took his family to safety before the elections and immediately went to fetch a victim of political violence from the hospital. Such dedication!

1. Last night I made a quick run to the store and as I was driving off there was a couple who were parked by the side of the road arguing. The guy attempted to slap the lady and I immediately stopped and got out of my car and asked the lady if everything was ok. 2. Did she not act as if there was nothing going on. It was now more like I was the problem and I just got back into the car and drove off. It was such a sad situation, I cannot imagine what happened after that.

1. If only Zanu PF was a party like other parties, not depending on the State to carry out its political activities, pillaging the State and using the security agencies for settling its political scores, then for sure, we would not worry about who sings for them at what rally. 2. But Zanu-PF is not any ordinary party, it is a cruel, malevolent and deeply evil entity. It revels in the oppression of others and scoffs at democratic processes. It has entrenched dictatorship with a unique brand of cruelty.

1. If we had invested in Post Traumatic disorder treatment for the 1980 Cabinet we could have saved many lives. Imagine a paranoid person like Mutsvangwa inheriting an entire State architecture that was also paranoid about uprisings and rebellion. 2. The guys were traumatized and unwell mentally and unfortunately they got into a State system that was also securocratic and paranoid. It was a ticking time bomb, as soon as the opportunity arose they had found an enemy to go after.

1. Dear Zim, healing a genocide entails very uncomfortable conversations. Some of us only tell in part because telling the stories will retraumatize those we know. However, when we say some things, they are only a tip of the iceberg. There are mountains of trauma wc are hidden 2. To build relationships that last, we must sit through these sessions which are akin to a visit to the dentist without anesthesia. If you are not yet prepared to have these conversations, steer clear and observe, lest you cause harm and fray relationships.

1. There was a guy who I used to see at this other place where we played pool/billiards. He was always smartly dressed and definitely looked like he was in the money. 2. Those who were closer to him said he had one business: ZESA tenders 🤣. Even if you came with a different business idea or deal he would simply remark "haa imboitai imimi mozondiudza", he only did ZESA tenders.

1. Newsflash!
Guys, I have people I know, in 2022, who can't stand Shona. Not because they hate Shona people, but the way the language was abused by 5th Brigade as a tool of demeaning them and victimizing them they struggle. 40 yrs after they are still affected. 2. Remember this, as adults, we spend all our lives getting over what happened in early childhood. Speak to anyone today, ask them the reason for their pain and behavior, early childhood is enduring in its impact.

1. Tsitsitsi 😂. Gentrumen, all your mineral resources are priced by organizations outside the African continent. You can't even sell each other oil for fuel, you don't even have a continental research entity to build the Africa that you want. 2. You all fund secret spies to track activists abroad and where possible kill them but fail to send those spies to learn about how pretty nations have succeeded. When the globe looks at you, they see that all some of you want is to be called President.

1. The humbling thing about leaving ZImbabwe, is that you move from having Elders who have invented nothing and are not globally relevant but want you to lick their entire bodies to talking to the pioneers of your field who insist that you call them with their first names😩 2. Imagine, talking the person who literally made the most important findings in your field and they want nothing from you apart from giving you all the skills and attention to make you great! You are not seen as competition but as a branch on a big tree, to bear more fruit.

1. My greatest fear, is that we have been under the rulership of a single party that is inept, corrupt and cruel. It is like being born during a war, you grow up knowing nothing else but war. The scarcity mindset sets in and becomes default for a generation. 2. A wile generation, does. not organically espouse democratic ideals. When I looked up the people who tortured Tawanda Muchehihwa on Facebook, there are people all born in the early to mid 80s. They are cruel and sadistic savages...and they are my age!

1. Zanu-PF is an equal opportunity abuser.
In 2019 January, when soldiers went on a rampage raping community members, there was a murakashi here on Twitter who got his sister raped 💔. The young man started looking for a gun to shoot someone 💔💔 2. Joyce Mujuru was at the Zenith of her powers when she was elected VP, she was a powerful politician within Zanu PF, with a storied liberation history she had all the credentials. But when she fell on one faction, she became public enemy and was abused and booted out.
