I believe, Putin was always playing along.

It is not a war against Putin. He just plays a villain role. It was all planned to be.

The only question is what is the end game for world elites.

I hope to be wrong, but facts go in direction of my worst fears.

1. Putin had exposed the bulk of Russian military to heavy losses in Kiev instead of trying to take control of the border crossings.
2. Mariupol could be simply left encircled with army advancing to encircle main Ukrainian forces at Donbass.

3. Russia after the sanctions imports next to nothing, it has a trade surplus of 22 billion. The imports could be easily covered by exports to other regions, but it continues to supply energy to EU, which in turn supplies Ukraine with billions of Euros of weapons.

4. Russia argumentation on Bucha and Borodyanka in UNSC was of very low level, allowing the Western blame shifting and continuation of its dehumanization strategy of Russian people. This, despite the facts readily available.

5. While Ukraine is moving in all weapons possible, Russian volunteers for DNR experience difficulties to bring through Russian-DNR border even the most basic equipment, including quadcopters.
