Late night drama. NotMyCat and Napoleon standing off against each other.
For the record:

#notMyCat went face to face with Napoleon who didn't move. Backed off and both accepted snacks. More staring. Then he came round the back of the chair and hissed at Napoleon who finally retreated upstairs. #notMyCat stayed at the bottom. Was picked up and put out
So...

POSITIVES: Napoleon stood his ground. This gave #notMyCat considerable pause for thought (as I've said before, he's a posh-boy playing street kitty and he knows it). Napoleon clearly still willing to be friends.

NEGATIVES: #notMyCat still not willing to share house.
It's all slightly frustrating as I know a single swipe to the head from Napoleon would put #notMyCat in his place. He'd then accept the status quo quicker.

But maybe we'll get there.
Stupid thing is that if there was a way to tell #notMyCat that his snack supply depended on being nice to Napoleon, then he'd shrug and do it in an instant. Dude has simple goals in life. I respect that.

Actual LOLs at any of you who think this means Johnson will resign or lose a vote of confidence though.

He's a festering wound on politics that can only be shifted by an election or himself.
it'll be:

1) The Prime Minister was misled
2) The rules were silly anyway
3) Lots of people did it
4) Something something Ukraine needs Boris

It's not like it's hard to guess.
You've got to assume Sunak's toast though, so it'll be fun to see which new non-entity gets Chancellor.

BTW, Season 1 Episode 14 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic ("Suited for Success") should be compulsory viewing on design courses.

It perfectly encapsulates the level of client feedback you'll get on every project you will ever work on. Rarity to Rainbow Dash: Aren't you going to tell me to changRainbow dash to Rarity: No, I Just want my dress to be... coRainbow Dash to Rarity: It needs to be about 20% cooler.Rarity has an existential crisis.
"Suited for Success" even has an entire fucking musical number which is every client brief meeting you've ever sat through.

I think the writer of this episode had opinions. Pinkie Pie singing: All we ever want is indecisionRainbow dash singing: All we really like is what we knowTwilight sparkle singing: got to balance style with adherencAll together: "Make sure that stays within our budget&q
The whole episode is a massive dig at how creativity by amateur committee is a bad idea. Which is interestingly high concept for a series aimed at pre-teen girls. frazzled looking Rarity: Okay. I did exactly what each of yoAll the ponies: It's exactly what I asked for!Rarity (now alone): These are the ugliest dresses I've ever

It's a bright, Spring morning when you wake. You can hear the birds singing and the plebs working. Both sounds please you.

You catch sight of yourself in the ceiling mirror.

"Sunak" You say to your reflection, in your best Bond voice. "Rishi Sunak. Chancellor."

You get up and:
You open the window. The dissonance of Aqua's second album floats in on the wind, but you hear no rutting. Carrie is home alone.

"KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH!"

The birds stop. The plebs continue. You order more breakfast bread from Ocado. Solidarity is over

You:
Deep breaths.

"Be cool, Rishi." You say to yourself. "Be cool."

You spend few minutes working on your latest project: NFTs.

You chuckle at the lesser minds who talk of cost of living subsidies. Bored Rishis are the future.

Behind you, a polite cough. It's a Treasury minion:

Rando fact: @SofiGaming was the first person who subbed to me on Twitch. I'd just gone affiliate doing history/gaming mix in HOI4. Wasn't sure peeps would like it.

Still remember the alert:

"Loving this. Do more!"

Her stuff is ace. If you don't follow/watch her, start now!
@SofiGaming Her World of Tanks streams are one of my go-to late night background watches, for the effortless combo of gaming and tank natter that is the EXACT OPPOSITE of the toxicity that blend can often be. They're just lazy, inclusive history gaming natter.
@SofiGaming And, as a streamer myself these days, I know how hard that is to cultivate and maintain with just 100 or so in chat, let alone five or ten times that.

Interesting.

Personally I see it less as 'believing' and more as 'accepting'.

I was born working class. Thanks in no small way to the efforts of my parents, I'm now middle class.

I drink expensive Port ffs. 😆

So accepting my middleclass-ness is partly recognising their work.
I can understand the experience of growing up in a council house, with no income security, of having loads of debt and the effect all that had on them and me.

But I also recognise that my experience NOW isn't that. So I need to listen when people NOW talk about that.
I'm proud of where I came from, but I'm also proud of what I have become.

And I feel that brings with it an obligation to try and prevent this government (and people in general) from pulling up the ladder for others to make the same class transition.

Terry Thomas and Peter Ustinov pissed, acting their arses off and riffing off each other. Best baddies ever

Ustinov said they begged them to behave, as Disney was verging on bankruptcy if it failed.

Ustinov: "Terry and I will save you darlings, trust us"
Also worth noting Maid Marian in Disney's Robin Hood is WIDELY REGARDED as one of several key triggers for the birth of the modern furry movement.

Basically, Disney's Robin Hood was an epochal moment in 20th century history. a timeline diverging moment. And it deserves more love
Disney's money issues is why whole chunks of Robin Hood's animation is just repurposed Aristocats stuff.

Comparison vids do the rounds on YouTube every now and again, but often say it was 'laziness'. It wasn't. Disney was running on fumes.
