See how the #TantonNetwork keeps trying to feed Americans these lines? That's because it's been a reliable way for eugenicists to control voters using fear for decades. It's all unhinged, racist bullshit
When Fox took this line in 2014, groups of white supremacists -- some of whom are part of the antimasker/antivaxxer/convoy/QAnon crowd today -- went out physically to Murietta to block buses of little kids who had come to the border alone seeking asylum. They abused children.
Same people, same lies. Even their signs were the same. kpbs.org/news/border-im…
Here's what they said at the time. It was bullshit then and it's the exact same bullshit now. Call them out for insulting us all with these transparent lies. #TantonNetwork Image
Remember the Federation for American Immigration Reform, the group that the Trump administration hired so many people from? The ones who love to take children away from their families? That's what they were saying in 2014. Read more on FAIR here (2013): adl.org/news/article/t…
There's also a big conversation to be had on why news orgs continue to use these groups as "the other side" to anything about immigration, when they've been exposed as "population control" and pro-eugenics groups in anti-immigration clothing for years now.
I actually fought to get reference to these groups out after this shitshow. I worked at KPBS at 2014, the news org whose link I posted above (not my story) and I was appalled that FAIR and related Tantonite groups were getting treated as authorities on immigration
When I saw they were running FAIR disinformation, I just about shit a puppy and made a huge scene. Luckily I was doing this alongside others pushing for the same thing, so I wasn't alone in this fight. And it worked! ... until late 2016, when all news orgs suddenly switched back.
Because they perceived that the country was about to become far more right wing I guess, and wanted to make sure that they were catering to the eugenicists and fascists in the name of bothsidesism. Watching that awful backslide spoke volumes about what's considered "objectivity."
So there's a history there. I don't just run around yelling about it. I know they know, and they know I know they know. And they're still pushing disinformation at me, you, and everybody, because spineless editors are scared they'll get mean phone calls from right-wingers.
That's why I advocate strongly for writing letters and making calls to local politicians and local newsrooms calling out their right-wing pandering and biases. Because news organizations catering to disinformation and weaponized lies is killing people. Millions of people.
These "population control" groups, who still have a strong network all over the U.S. government, have also effectively, deliberately muddled the messaging on COVID-19 and caused enormous amounts of needless suffering and death. That's why they pivot to blaming immigrants 24/7
Here's one of my old threads about exactly this network in March 2020, warning everybody that I thought something like this would happen
Here's some discussion about FAIR (and related disinfo groups such as English Only, Zero Population Growth, and the Center for Immigration Studies) from November 2014: source.wustl.edu/2014/11/racist…
You'll probably recognize the names of some of the players from back then from their time in the Trump administration. Here's a 2017 story about that vice.com/en/article/mb9…
Never forget exactly what the fuck these people are. Never forget exactly who the fuck has enabled them every step of the way. Never forget that they are wrong, and they are racists, and they are filthy fascists and open eugenicists. And never stop calling them out.
Here's another shitty thing that the #TantonNetwork's Greg Abbott is trying to force in order to create excuses to further harden the border. Naturally, the "trucker's convoy" doesn't give a shit about this, because they don't actually care about truckers

(I don't know what this means, I've just noticed it for years, behavioral psych types probably know way better than I do. I've read stuff talking about it but nothing that really resonates better than my own theories, which are not flattering to that 30 percent)
My theory is that a strong need for heavy structure exists on a normal continuum, like other types of behaviors, and that can either get bent toward discipline and organization or to supporting authoritarianism, depending on the cultures around the structure craving 30 percent

This is exactly what I warned about from 2017 through now. Remember I said no one was listening and I guessed we were all going to find out together just how bad it was going to get? Remember I said all the disinfo was a pretext for a power grab? washingtonpost.com/world/2022/04/…
"It’s no accident we call them Nazis,” said Margarita Simonyan, [of the Kremlin's] Sputnik and RIA Novosti news agencies. “What makes you a Nazi is your bestial nature, your bestial hatred and your bestial willingness to tear out the eyes of children on the basis of nationality.”
In other words, what Ms. RT is saying is, "Save the children"

Oh look, the Viktor Orban bootlicker has himself some Thoughts about LGBTQ people
Well gosh golly gee whiz, wonder where he's getting his ideas reuters.com/world/europe/h…
Surely no hostile foreign leader would ever try to compromise an attention-seeking American pundit or journalist hack in order to try to get them to normalize noxious and inherently anti-American ideas for a US audience

And Culp was saying he had been "canceled" lmao
His bullshit tweet is still up. Imagine falling for something like this and then thinking you have what it takes to represent actual human beings. Someone this gullible is a massive security failure for anybody he might represent in every possible way.

Key phrase in this article:

"Digital ad revenue is not strong enough to sustain a robust media business, so organizations explore other forms of generating income: live events, subscriptions and memberships, podcasts, partnerships with... Facebook and Twitter..."
You know why digital ad revenue can't sustain journalism, right?
