LaiLai talked about 2nd gen boy groups who are now coming back to the music scene after finishing their military service like BIGBANG, SHINee, 2PM, Highlight, BtoB, etc.

With such a long break in between many often worry if their support/fans have died down with the break or if everyone has forgotten them and moved on, but the thing is the response from everyone has been pretty good for all of them. For a lot of people, their comebacks evoke+

+ nostalgic feels from when they were in school or a different part of their life and new fans can discover them as new groups and be introduced to their expansive discography from throughout the years. So it feels like there’s new and old fans both supporting them simultaneously

🐑: ah that “empty period” you mentioned…I think that’s quite rare nowadays in 2022 because you can interact and communicate with fans in so many different ways. Whether it’s through SNS or text you like friends (referring to bubble)…it’s almost like there’s no empty periods!

LaiLai talked about how some pre-record songs/content to be released while they’re in the military or sometimes when they have breaks/holidays they will post things for fans. He also mentioned how some groups will have unit comebacks as well and how fans will go back to watch+

+ old content/videos while their idols are in the military so it might suddenly get rly popular again. Especially since a lot of concepts and styles from boy groups back then aren’t as common these days, so people really look forward to comebacks like theirs!
