Interesting matchup tonight at @cryptocomarena by two playoff bubble teams. @BlueJacketsNHL visit, having won 2 in a row and 3 of 4, but if the @Capitals get at least a point at @CanadiensMTL, the Blue Jackets will be officially eliminated. #LAKvsCBJ

Meanwhile, the host @LAKings have lost 4 of their last 5 - with all 4 losses this month, and in regulation - and if the @GoldenKnights get even a point at @EdmontonOilers, LA will be outside the playoffs… #LAKvsCBJ

In LA’s case, outside the playoffs does not mean eliminated…but a tie between LA and Vegas favors Vegas (game in hand and regulation wins) and if LA drops out of 3rd, they have to deal with Dallas, who has 89 points and hosts San Jose. LA has 88. #LAKvsCBJ

Also, the other wildcard with the @DallasStars, the @PredsNHL, likewise have 89 points, are playing now at home vs Chicago, game tied at 2 in the 2nd. #LAKvsCBJ

If Dallas gets a point, Nashville gets a point, and Vegas gets a point today, the only way the Kings get back in the playoffs is to pass Vegas in points (IOW a win vs Columbus). Kings do not have the tiebreaker on Vegas, Nashville, or Dallas. #LAKvsCBJ
