Gender ideology has infected med, psych & social discourse w/ buzzwords we’re supposed to accept as descriptive, but are loaded terms to make sex denialism seem consonant w/ reality. Eg, “transition” is a misnomer b/c no one transitions from one sex to the other (or to sexless).
If we accept “transition” lingo we go directly to arguing over “medical transition” vs “social transition” for children. Neither could possibly contribute to healthy child development b/c “transition” re sex isn’t a thing, & it’s irresponsible for adults to swap fact for fantasy.
Unpacking gender lingo reveals its faith over fact, soul over body doctrine destructive to human flourishing. Gender ideology queers individual self-determination into the upside notion that one can only be authentic & confident if one’s subjective beliefs are affirmed…
& shared by everyone else. Gender doctrine teaches youth to alleviate emotional upset by expecting the external world to bend reality rather than through emotional resilience to “be me” against the backdrop of material reality & alongside the 8 billion others who are “being me.”
