Saw #JackWhite at @TheAnthemDC last night. It was great. The best part—NO PHONES allowed. Upon entry they go into a Yondr pouch which is closed upon entry opened at exit. Music was better. Atmosphere was better. You ingested the entirety of the experience as a collective whole.
Every artist with clout should do this. Popular restaurants should do this. People having weddings should do this. Hell I might buy some Yondr pouches for my next game watch. Live in the now!
Staff gave us these cards. Code for professionally taken photos that can be shared and a pro recording. Lovely.

Both parties need to ditch Iowa first. Way past time. NH too. Need states with more diverse people and economies.
A state like IOWA should hold NO power in a Democratic primary. It’s quite red now. It’s silly. It’s like the GOP starting off in CT.
The argument about “but low dollar campaigns can connect to voters” blah blah if you don’t have a Super-PAC or a good web game you’re done already. Rotate who goes first!

To recap--this car was 100 ft from going over the falls. In high winds, rescuer was lowered into the river from chopper, opened the window with an ax, rescued occupant. All tweeted in real time by @buffaloscribe

Condolences to the family of the victim. Doesn’t diminish the heroism of the rescuers. 🙏🏽
