1-The view from Beijing is that the global system is experiencing unprecedented changes & that the current world order transition can’t be stopped, despite the challenges:

3-To achieve economic recovery, Xi Jinping calls for global cooperation, continued globalisation, inclusive & human-centric economic development:

4-He requests the international community to cooperate to keep global peace & warns against unilateralism, Cold War mentality & hegemonic tendencies & ambitions of the old order:

7-He underlines Asia’s role in the world & reminds Asians of the “Asian Miracle” & requests for continued strengthening & development of Asia, making it one pillar of global peace & stability, & an example of international cooperation. (It’ll be summarised in a different 🧵)
8-He highlights that the Chinese economy remains resilient with massive potential & manoeuvrability, adding impetus to the global economy. Regardless of what happens externally, China will stay committed to its new development philosophy, & reform & opening-up:
