1/ I'm winding down @BIPF_ operations by end of Dec 2023

2/ After my founder journey, I'm entering the job market for a full-time position

First, some background:

I launched @BIPF_ in Jan 2023 as a bootstrapped cohort-based business to help founders become prolific at building in public.

Hustled to run 5 cohorts w/ 55 paid customers and crossed $100k in revenue.
NPS was 83 and people loved it. (see images)

Despite strong word of mouth, the unit economics was fragile.

The biz was ops heavy (6 weeks intensive sessions) and unscalable (every live session involved me)

5 cohorts later, it kept feeling like an uphill push.

I had one of the most unconventional entries into startups

I am proud and grateful for how far I've come from being a no-code newbie with no leverage/connections in Silicon Valley

Here are 4 lessons to help build credibility in any given niche:

1/ Identify an exploding niche

This is almost the most important decision you'll make

I wanted to be a founder but discovered no-code as a smaller niche in 2018 and deliberately choose to stick with that space

Explore widely and then commit to an exploding niche
2/ Separate yourself from talkers, become a doer

Millions of people do what's easy, share opinions. But to actually create/take action is harder

Become a doer, be consistent & ship small interesting projects

You won't get instant results so build things purely for curiosity
