In Hindu cosmology, the world is described as being divided into seven concentric island-continents. These are mentioned in texts like the Puranas and the Mahabharata.

These Saptadweep together form the world (Bhu-mandala) according to Hindu cosmology.

The Srimad Bhagavatam Puran offers a unique perspective on the world’s geography. It describes our planet, the Vasumatī, which comprises seven continents, or “Sapta dvipa.” It provides a fascinating glimpse into ancient geographical knowledge.

🌺।।Uddhava was a close friend, confidant, cousin and devotee of Sri Krishna।।🌺

And, The Uddhava Gita is a sacred spiritual discourse that Sri Krishna gave to his devotee and cousin Uddhava towards the end of his earthly life.

Uddhava was the son of Devabhaga, who was Krishna’s paternal uncle (Vasudeva’s brother). This makes Uddhava Krishna’s cousin.

Towards the end of Krishna’s earthly life, Krishna imparted the Uddhava Gita (a spiritual discourse similar to the Bhagavad Gita) to Uddhava, containing profound teachings on devotion, dharma, and renunciation.

This story, set during Krishna’s final days as an avatar, records the conversations between Krishna and Uddhava , later known as the Uddhava Gita, where Uddhava asks heartfelt questions about Krishna’s actions in the Mahabharata, and Krishna offers deep, enlightening answers.

Ramanathaswamy Temple (Rameshwaram Temple) is one of the most sacred Hindu temples, located on Rameswaram Island in Tamil Nadu, India.

Dedicated to God Shiva, the Temple is considered one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas.

Prabhu Sri Ram worshipped Bhagwan Shiv here after defeating Ravana in Lanka and installed the sacred Shiva Lingam.

Rameshwaram is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites of Hindus, the other being Badrinath, Dwarkanath, Jagannath.

Rameswaram Temple Tirthas are the holy wells situated inside the Rameswaram Temple in Tamilnadu, India. There are sixty-four Tīrthas (holy water bodies) in and around the island of Rameswaram.

According to Skanda Purana, 24 Tirthas in Rameswaram are important and taking snan (bathing) in them are considered equivalent to penance. Twenty-Two Teerthams are inside Ramanathaswamy Temple.

The number twenty-two denotes the twenty-two arrows in the quiver of Prabhu Sri Ram. The first and the most important theertham is called as Agni Theertham, which is the serene shallow water of the Bay of Bengal, close to the Ramanathaswamy temple.

यह आलेख उन सभी के लिए है जो मंत्र की शक्ति तो जानते हैं पर जप विधि में ध्यान नहीं दे पाते। मंत्र को कैसे सिद्ध करें और उसका पूर्ण लाभ उठाने के लिए ध्यान से पढ़ें।

⚜️1. मंत्र जप के लिए बैठने का आसन : मंत्र को सिद्ध करने के लिए और उसका पूर्ण लाभ उठाने के लिए सबसे पहले सही आसन का चुनाव करें। हमारे ऋषि मुनि सिद्धासन का प्रयोग किया करते थे। इसके अलावा पद्मासन , सुखासन , वीरासन या वज्रासन भी काम में लिया जा सकता है।

⚜️2. समय का चुनाव : मंत्र साधना के लिए आप सही समय चुने। जब आप आलस्य से दूर और वातावरण शांत हो। इसके लिए ब्रह्म मुहूर्त अर्थात् सूर्योदय से पूर्व का समय उपयुक्त है। संध्या के समय पूजा आरती के बाद भी जप का समय सही माना गया है।

⚜️3. एकाग्रचित ध्यान : मंत्र जप करते समय आपका ध्यान और मन एकाग्रचित होना चाहिए। आपको बिल्कुल भी बाहरी दुनिया में ध्यान नही देना चाहिए। मन दूसरी बातो में ना लगे। जिस देवता का आप मंत्र उच्चारण कर रहे हैं बस उनके रूप का ध्यान करते रहें।
