🌺Lalitaditya Muktapida: The Great Hindu King of Kashmir who missed our text books.🌺

Lalitaditya Muktapida was the great Hindu King of Kashmir who belonged to the Karkorta Dynasty and provided heroic resistance to the foreign invaders.

He remained undefeated throughout his reign & expanded his empire in all directions.
The famous book Rajatarangini which was written in 12th century had given us details of the golden age of Kashmir.
The rise of Karkota dynasty of Kashmir was the turning point in Indian history.

This great dynasty was founded by Durlabha-vardhana. Many eminent historians claim that this king was married to the daughter of Baladitya the last king of the Gonanda dynasty.
Lalitaditya ascended the throne about 724 CE and was the fifth ruler of the Karkota Dynasty.

जब रावण ने देखा कि हमारी पराजय निश्चित है तो उसने 1000 अमर राक्षसों को बुलाकर रणभूमि में भेजने का आदेश दिया। ये ऐसे थे जिनको काल भी नहीं खा सका था।
विभीषण के गुप्तचरों से समाचार मिलने पर श्री राम को चिन्ता हुई कि हम लोग इनसे कब तक लड़ेंगे ?

सीता का उद्धार और विभीषण का राज तिलक कैसे होगा ? क्योंकि युद्ध की समाप्ति असंभव है।

श्रीराम कि इस स्थिति से वानरवाहिनी के साथ कपिराज सुग्रीव भी विचलित हो गए कि अब क्या होगा ? हम अनंत काल तक युद्ध तो कर सकते हैं पर विजयश्री का वरण नहीं ! पूर्वोक्त दोनों कार्य असंभव हैं।

अंजनानंदन हनुमान जी आकर वानर वाहिनी के साथ श्रीराम को चिंतित देखकर बोले–'प्रभु ! क्या बात है ?'
श्रीराम के संकेत से विभीषण जी ने सारी बात बतलाई और कहा अब विजय असंभव है।

पवन पुत्र ने कहा–'असम्भव को संभव और संभव को असम्भव कर देने का नाम ही तो हनुमान है।

The Eastern Ganga Dynasty?

The Eastern Ganga dynasty aka Rudhi Gangas or Prachya Gangas reigned from Kalinga for nearly a Millennium (that's a 1000 years) from as early as the 5th century to the early 15th century.

They are known as "Eastern Gangas" to distinguish them from the Western Gangas who ruled over Karnataka.

The territory ruled by the Eastern Ganga Kings consisted of the whole of Odisha as well as major parts of West Bengal, Andhra and Chattisgarh.

The early rulers of the dynasty ruled from Dantapuram; the capital was later moved to Kalinganagara (modern Mukhalingam), and ultimately to Kataka (modern Cuttack).

🌺ममलेश्वर महादेव मंदिर, करसोग, हिमाचल प्रदेश🌺

शिमला से 100 किमी की दूरी पर करसोग घाटी में ममलेश्वर मंदिर है। लोगों की मान्यता है कि यहां 5 हजार साल पहले पांडवों ने समय बिताया था।

- ममलेश्वर मंदिर में एक अग्निकुंड है, जो हमेशा जलता रहता है।

मान्यता है कि 5 हजार साल पहले पांडवों ने इस अग्निकुंड को जलाया था और तब से यह जल रहा है।
- यहां के स्थानीय लोगों का मानना है कि अज्ञातवास के दौरान पूजा करने के लिए पांडवों ने इस अग्निकुंड को बनवाया था।

- कहा जाता है कि सावन के महीने में यहां पार्वती और शिव कमल पर बैठकर मंदिर में मौजूद रहते हैं।

- कहा जाता है कि ममलेश्वर मंदिर में 5 हजार साल पुराना गेहूं का दाना है, जिसका वजन 200 ग्राम है।

🌺 श्री हनुमान जन्म-कथा।।🌺

माता अंजनि से हनुमान के जन्म की कथा तो सबने सुनी है लेकिन बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं कि माता अंजनि इंद्र के दरबार में अप्सरा थीं।

ऋषि के श्राप से त्रेता युग में अंजनि को नारी वानर के रूप में धरती पर जन्म लेना पड़ा।

#कथा

इंद्र की हजारों सुंदर अप्सराओं में से एक थीं अंजनि यानी अप्सरा पुंजिकस्थला। इंद्र ने जब उन्हें मनचाहा वरदान मांगने को कहा, तब उन्होंने हिचकिचाते हुए उनसे कहा कि उन पर एक तपस्वी साधु का श्राप है, अगर हो सके तो उन्हें उससे मुक्ति दिलवा दें।

इंद्र ने कहा कि वह उस श्राप के बारे में बताएं, क्या पता वह उस श्राप से उन्हें मुक्ति दिलवा दें।

तब पुंजिकस्थला ने बताया, किशोरावस्था में जब मैं खेल रही थी तो मैंने एक वानर को तपस्या करते देखा, मेरे लिए यह एक बड़ी आश्चर्य वाली घटना थी,..
