Crazy how a guy self immolates in the country's capital in front of the Supreme Court on Earth Day in protest of climate change inaction and it's barely a blip on the media and social radar
No politicians need to come out and address it. No calls for investigations. No social discussion. Just a few reports that a guy did it and that's it.
Reminds me of the Palestine rally we had in Orlando last year. Massive crowds all over the city, it barely got a mention on local media, let alone anywhere else.

Curious that all this trashing of the "western left" comes almost exclusively from Europeans. No mention of the left in the global south which has positions that are far more in line with what this person is complaining about.
Wonder if this guy's definition of "western left" is including Evo Morales or the Communist Party of Cuba
If you got a problem with DSA's position, you aren't ready for what actual governing socialist states have to say
