You know what, let's watch a little Warriors/Nuggets Game 4.
Winning time so a slight adjustment to double Jokic on the catch as opposed to once he makes a move.
I've never understood how Jokic doesn't get respect for the bucket getting.
Klay Thompson is back in this series and the problem for Denver has been the balance of Jokic doing multiple things vs. GS sudden offense. Great job at the level on the P&R. Ball moves, he relaxes, Klay comes off a screen for a great look.
Denver pushes and scram switches are great until you face someone like Jokic who is going to throw the pass as you try to get it done.
Guess we're doing Bones Hyland vibes on a Sunday.
a fun sequence of basketball.
I just appreciate the little things from Draymond. He’s on ball play is a drive with a flare for Jokic. Wiggins switches, Gordon flows to the corner, Draymond pushes Looney towards him to close out.
Warriors are sudden on offense but when they get stops and get in transition it’s even tougher. Barton gets back and gets to Draymond who goes right into a screen for Klay.
If Denver wants to compete they need the guard play. I don’t even think it has to be the same one each night just someone has to take/make shots, make defense pay, open up the playbook a little bit. Morris has done it before and let’s it fly off this flare.
I’m just never going to understand the Jokic discourse because he does stuff like this and the convo is just #numbers
Klay being Klay makes a huge difference. It did feel like Denver got to much more random play, random drives, random posts vs. Warriors small lineup which intrigued me.

You know what, let's watch some Bucks/Bulls Game 4.
Jrue Holiday's offense has just been so key for the Bucks all year. First play is motion to get him a cross screen into the post. DeMar switches, Jrue turns and fires and regardless.
Zach LaVine's offense is just so important for the Bulls to have a shot. Need him to be aggressive and make the Bucks pay. If they are going to stay in a drop against him he has to shift the momentum and make Milwaukee blink.
You know what, let's watch a little Sixers/Raptors Game 4.
Very little thing but Embiid comes to screen for Maxey. Reject vs. the ICE, you've gotten Maxey to the point where the Raptors end up late switching this. That's a W. FVV on Embiid is a W. Unfortunately he drives back the same way and they switch back. Also locked in on doubles.
Embiid's help is a plus but Tobias Harris has defended this entire series like "it's not gonna be me this year"
You know what, let's watch some Grizzlies/Wolves Game 4.
Honestly, looking to see if there was an adjustment made to the adjustment. Memphis has found a lot, big comeback. Wolves left some things on the table on both ends.
The fun of an evenly matched series is both teams have paths to victory and both force the other to show their hand as the series progresses and eventually it turns in to "who can do X" and it feels like we've reached that point.
You know what, let's watch a little Celtics/Nets Game 3.
Clips incoming but the big takeaway from me is this series has given Boston the platform to finally have Jayson Tatum's scoring turn into creation for others. That's a massive step for Boston.
Double P&R for Tatum here with Pritchard/Theis as screeners. Nets working to switch the first screen, puts two on the ball, Theis slips the second and now it's a kick to Pritchard. Getting him PT by making that trade has been huge.
You know what, let's watch a little Mavericks/Jazz Game 4.
We've seen this set from Dallas a lot this year. Flex into Luka coming off into a handoff/pick and roll. Corner is empty. Gobert is in a drop but remember Luka isn't going all the way, keeps him in engaged, lob open to Powell.
Dallas using Luka and post-ups to attack and open up matchups. Gets Conley and what's interesting is he's sending him to Gobert who showed help early. And then he just kind of continued to show help. Luka able to score.
You know what, let's watch some Heat/Hawks Game 3.
I've liked the mindset and aggression from De'Andre Hunter. Bookmarking this as well, wasn't bad defense but to me it shows how important it is for Strus to be able to hold his end of the bargain going forward.
Feels like the Hawks have done a better job of countering Miami's switching vs. Trae Young by attacking matchups. Tucker switches on to Trae, Lowry on Gallinari. Right to a post up, Lowry fronts, Butler almost gets the steal but Gallo able to lay it up.
