1) Know how when you're watching an old movie on @TCM & U see a face you've seen 100s of X in films as supporting player & U don't know the name? Like the very memorable face of an actor named Henry Brandon. Today he was playing a German Nazi double agent in Edge of Darkness &

2) it's killing me I can't place where I've seen him B4 & IMdb reminds me: he was Chief Cicatrix in one J Wayne's best Ford westerns. Absurd casting b/c I think the guy had blue eyes but he DID have a menacing face making him perfect for villains. When it happens, drives meNuts

3) until I finally identify the actor. My ex had a book that was strictly about all the great character actors in films that you knew their face but rarely their name. People like Whit Bissell. Those ppl often were much more successful financially than actors in major roles.

1)Stopping treat her like victim. Jada Smith is very out there in the media discussing the alopecia issue. She openly displays the problem. Refuses to wear a wig and gives the impression it's no big deal to her vanity. Who would've dreamed they would go ballistic over such a mild

2) teasing reference to it? They come across pretty haughty and I saw their faces when it happened. They were not hurt. They were PISSED. Almost an attitude that royal protocol had been broken. They need to get over themselves, stop playing the victim and expecting special

3) treatment at an awards show that historically regularly features comedians poking fun at the Academy poo bahs in a good natured way which is exactly what Chris Rock did. What the Smiths have done is insure that this incident will be eternally part of Chris Rock's stand up.

1) When I was in grammar school & at home with parents I don't remember parents spending time trying to exorcise classrooms of negative "political" influences & trust me it wasn't b/c teachers didn't have their own political views of history & current events that were espoused

2) so these kind of debates like CRT I don't get. We discussed what we learned that day at the dinner table & if my parents didn't agree with what teacher taught they said so but there was no thought of censoring what the teacher presented b/c I suppose they realized those ideas

3) are out there in the world & we'd be exposed to them sooner or later. Home schoolers seem to want to prevent their children from exposure to the culture they don't agree with. It's their right but censorship always inspires the one being protected from seeking the forbidden

1) In 1861 eleven states decided they were not going 2 abide by the Constitution & they refused 2 go along with what the rest of Union wanted. So they seceded & formed their own "nation". Today pretty much the same states with some additonal red states in the West and Midwest

2) have decided they no longer want 2 participate in a country that adheres 2 the Constitution. Instead of trying 2 persuade voters 2 agree with them, they want 2 overturn lawful elections by spreading lies & BS conspiracy theories. They refuse 2 work with other members of

3) Congress who aren't like minded which of course means that there's no real governance going on because most meaningful legislation & decisions require 2/3 vote to pass. So in effect, this recalcitrant authoritarian group of Americans have essentially seceded from the Union

1) I know the Brits love their monarchy. The history, pomp etc but increasingly its become anachronistic institution that serves little real purpose & just a burden on the taxpayer as well as actual royal family. Q Eliz is 1 of richest women in world. Give em a generous severance

2) package & let em be on their way. None of them seem all that happy in the burdensome role they're required to play. Just hire some actors to act out the parts for tourists when they gawk at Buckingham Palace & put an end to the waste & effort. Have a big festival annually

3) to celebrate & acknowledge the more memorable reigns like a Renaissance Faire.
