@ruthcabal15 PhilHealth spokesperson Shirley Domingo on the required medical insurance to college students who will start face-to-face classes: Kailangan kasi maprotektahan yung ating mga estudyante ngayon lalo na na magfface-to-face (class) na sila.
Domingo: Based on the joint circular of DOH and CHED, they should be covered by PhilHealth or any equivalent health insurance. Hindi naman lahat kailangan magregister kasi yung below 21 years old, they are considered dependents of their parents.
Domingo: Yung above 21 ang kailangang magregister dahil (PhilHealth) members na sila.
Domingo: Students only need to fill up the PhilHealth Member Registration Form, attach a birth certificate and submit to their offices.
Domingo: Parents of those under 21 years old can check their contribution and dependents on the PhilHealth website using their PhilHeatlth number.
Domingo: Wala pang online registration ngayon (for PhilHealth membership) pero yung schools sa ibang region, sila na ang nakikipag-ugnayan sa PhilHealth para sa (membership) ng lahat ng estudyante nila.
Domingo: Direct contributors have the capacity to pay. Indirect ones are financially incapable and contribution is being paid by the government.
Domingo: Contribution payments (currently at ₱300) are done monthly but there are options to pay quarterly, semestrally, or yearly.
Domingo: Wala namang deadline for registration. Register anytime at our offices.
