I decided to figure out how often I should be compounding my #CosmosEcosystem staking rewards, and it's actually nowhere near as often as I thought:

Notes...

a. Cosmostation and Keplr are quite deceptive with their displayed APRs, especially for OSMO, ROWAN and JUNO. Use validator sites such as:

b. $OSMO is the only coin I could see where you end up losing yield while staking :O - High APR does not mean high returns!

c. If a coin is highly inflationary and you don't compound often, it could cost you a fair bit. This risk doesn't exist with low APR coins.

In summary, this isn't rocket science, but I figured that since I learnt something new while reading for myself, hopefully it may help some fellow #IBCfrens
