#Actually, it's about policy.
All these people like Adam are still salty because he accurately called out the terrible slogan that is "defund the police", which they still can't admit was a mega loser. So instead, you get a bunch of extremely weird character attacks like this.
Lamb's probably not going to win because nobody's paying attention and Fetterman has (relatively) high name recognition, but good lord this is just pathetic.

The media soft-pedaling of the fascist, racist RW'ers who want to subvert democracy because they believe they have the god-given rights to be in power, no matter what voters say, as merely 'populist' is yet again, a massive media failure.
There is nothing 'populist' about these people. They occasionally throw some bad faith position out there, which of course they never act on when they're in power. Meanwhile 99% of their output is culture-war grievance and anti-democracy. So bold. So populist.
A creepy billionaire trying to single-handedly buy a Senate seat for the president of his company so that they can get more tax breaks for the wealthy? Well shucks, that's just populism.

If you were wondering if Glenn admitted he was wrong or anything of the such, well you will be shocked to hear that he just never commented on the election results. Not once. As he does whenever reality does not match his narratives. So bold. Such journalism.
Well, this was as close as he got. A tweet tone-policing Rick Wilson. Because that is certainly the more important thing than the election results. Must pivot to grievance when your narratives don't go your way.
Never once in my entire time following this guy have I seen him admit to being wrong about something. Even when it's just objectively obvious that he was wrong. He will just never acknowledge it, find some random lib (or lib adjacent) to whine about & then pivot to another topic.

Human anal cyst Jimmy Dore calls Russia's slaughter in Bucha a false flag, and rather than chastise him for pushing genocide denial (again), who swoops in to defend his honor?

Why of course 'heterodox' journalists, @mtaibbi and Glem Greenwald, naturally.
Glem, after spending a day ranting about 'no independent confirmation' that Russia did anything in Bucha (which was then used on Russian state media), never mentioned it again once that confirmation came. Matt Taibbi never mentioned it once in the 1st place.
But as soon as their shithead buddy starts pushing Alex Jones-esque 'false flag' conspiracy BS...the alarms go off. Because tone policing someone upset about him pushing vile conspiracies is wayyy more important than actual caring about who's slaughtering who in the war.

Been nearly 2 weeks since Glenn pretended he just wanted to see 'independently verified evidence' of the horrors of Bucha. Of course, since numerous sources have provided that verification (including the NYT), Glenn just never brought it up again. Funny, that.
Almost as if he's not actually interested in seeing any sort of confirmation of the atrocities & is just pretending to put up the highest of evidentiary standards (when it's something bad for his narrative), so that he can filibuster while its fresh news & never mention it again.
Oh, hey funny coincidence, he did the same exact thing for all of these 'incidents' too. "Hysterical Libs are reacting w/o having 100% airtight confirmation (could be anyone). Skepticism is necessary." And then just never brought them up again after tons of confirming evidence.

Literally every single tweet Glem has made about Le Pen has been positive, while every tweet about her opponent has been negative. He'll cry about it being a 'smear' that he's rooting for Le Pen, since he's too cowardly to outright say it, but just like with Trump, its obvious. Image
Another obviously bullshit Glem 'principle' is whenever he's asked to criticize Putin even once he posts the Chomsky "I only concern myself w/ my country" BS, yet he is constantly tweeting about (boosting RWers) all sorts of foreign countries: France, UK, Australia, NZ, etc.

Just been staring in awe at these tweets for several minutes. This is absolutely the peak of Substack brain.
The Substack grifters are almost all wealthy white dudes who face no oppression and get paid $1000s a month to sit on their computers (in their mansions) and burp out takes about how white conservatives are the real oppressed, while downplaying anything the GOP does.
In a way it makes logical sense. States passing laws to criminalize Trans children or making it illegal for a teacher to mention their partner...none of that effects a Matt Taibbi. Banning someone from their Twitter account for pushing Ivermectin? That has Matt terrified.
