you do realize this just proves my point, right? that teenagers can get sucked into your ideology, make irreversible changes to their bodies, and then grow up to think very differently.

large numbers of people are beginning to recognize intuitively that the complete liberalization of attitudes towards sex is enabling a climate that endangers children. sure, expression of this may not always be the most articulate but that doesn’t make it a “moral panic”
the Very Smart and Nuanced do not want to reckon with the implications of liberal sexual (lack of) morality, because A. it’s gross and scary and B. they have invested so much in the idea that attaching meaning and morality to sex is oppressive and outdated
but seemingly from every angle, the detachment of sex and the body from nature, responsibility, and meaning has logically resulted in an ideology that can’t distinguish the action of sex from any other action, or the body from any other matter subject to one’s will

i understand the pain of these trans activists, i mean i was one. i know what its like to be really weird in a way that doesnt fit into more acceptable ways of deviating (i wasnt a "tomboy" or "alternative", just weird), and growing up that way is profoundly painful.
so i understand why they are in love with the idea that there is liberation to be found in pretending to be someone else. maybe some people assume based on how i look now that i dont know what its like, but holy shit i do.
these are people who radically reject themselves. they have banished their true selves into a realm that is so far away from their consciousness they think authenticity is a fake name and deleting all your old photographs and changing your documents and getting plastic surgery.

as a former weird patty, "making it a little less likely weird patty wont kill themselves" is a pretty accurate description of what transitioning did for me.
just because a girl is weird doesnt mean she needs to be transed. weird girls are really cool and epic just the way we are.
says a lot that evan believes that "all american katie" should be allowed to grow up healthy and happy, but "weird patty" deserves to be lied to about her body making her suicidal and then pumped up with hormones and have her body parts cut off.

i promise you kids really really really really really really really really really really do not need strange adults teaching them how to have sex or watch porn or masturbate
i’m thankful that we are finally waking up and getting things like that family sex show shut down, but i can’t believe we allowed “sex education for children” to become a thing. LET KIDS BE KIDS.
if some adult came up to your kid and started telling them about porn or inviting them to touch themselves, they’d get arrested

but when it’s an “expert” providing “sex education” they’re paid to come to the school

im increasingly believing all this gender stuff is primarily about driving a wedge between parent and child in order to indoctrinate the child. the trans movement clearly operates as a cult and/or revolutionary movement, they feed off of broken families.
its true, a lot of the young ppl who get sucked into trans have strained relationships with their parents, but trans radicalization makes it much worse. it perfectly sets up each person in the family to panic, miscommunicate, behave erratically, and feel hurt, betrayed, and angry
in this uncannily identical way. ive talked to hundreds of parents at this point, and the way trans radicalization hijacks and exploits every weakness in the individuals and their relationships is like its designed to do just that.
