1/8 I find all of this staggering, @DurhamPCC seem to have covered for #Labour and @Keir_Starmer using lack of evidence as the excuse.

There is a video of the incident FFS.

But ok, this may not have been known at the initial clearing...

telegraph.co.uk/politics/2022/…
2/8 ...#KeirStarmer used the whitewash clearing of him by @DurhamPCC as a declaration of his innocence and seems to be suggesting he was cleared of wrongdoing on the facts, but this is not true, not in the slightest.

This is an egregious error by Starmer...
3/8 What @DurhamPCC said "we did not believe an offense has been 'established' in relation to the legislation and guidance in place at the time the footage was taken", so on the weight of the video alone, the alleged offense was not established, and here is where it unravels...
4/8 ... believing he was cleared on facts, the arrogant @Keir_Starmer went on TV and his side of the story, admitted what he had done, but said @DurhamPCC had cleared him on the facts, NOT TRUE, they did not have enough evidence to establish an offense had been committed...
5/8 ...this position changes when you include @Keir_Starmer TV confession about the event, he clearly admits to the facts which blatantly establishes that an offense was committed in relation to legislation, @DurhamPCC now has the video, and Starmer's confession to the facts...
6/8 When you put it all together, @DurhamPCC can't say an offense hasn't been established, as there is a video showing the offense and @keir_Starmer contextualizing the event, and in that context, an offense, in relation to the legislation and guidance at the time, was committed.
7/8 New evidence exists to @DurhamPCC in the form of the TV confession by @Keir_Starmer admitting to the facts and putting them in context, the law was breached by all attendees of the informal #DurhamGate drinks gathering held in @marykfoy offices, furthermore...
8/8 Should @Keir_Starmer resign, YES!

Keir Starmer believes being found guilty of breaching the law is a resignation offense.

Again, #SirKeirStarmer believes a leader found to have broken the law should resign.

Starmers only hope is @DurhamPCC #Whitewash it all.

#DurhamGate
